유아강점척도 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사평정방법으로 유아강점행동을 측정할 수 있는 타당하고 신뢰로운 도구를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 유아강점에 대한 선행연구고찰, 경험표집법, 포커스그룹 인터뷰, 유아그림분석을 바탕으로 유아강점 구성요인을 설정한 뒤, 델파이조사를 통해 최종도출된 유아강점척도의 예비시안을 수정․보완한 뒤, 630명 유아를 대상으로 본조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 유아강점척도는 106문항의 19가지 하위영역이 도출되었고 전체 변량의 약 68.94%를 설명하였다. 19가지로 도출된 유아강점 하위영역은 자존감, 자기조절, 활력 및 긍정성, 탄력성, 심미감, 관계성, 창의성, 학습동기, 운동, 미술, 음악, 논리수학, 자연탐구, 언어, 신체건강, 놀이, 예절, 정리정돈 및 절약, 안전이다. 또한, 유아강점척도의 문항반응분포, 문항변별도, 문항내적합치도, 검사-재검사 신뢰도, 구성타당도가 적절한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to develop a scale to measure children’s strengths according to their teachers’evaluations. The scale was developed after generating constructs of 5-year-old children’s strengths that are appropriate for Korean children’s developmental levels as well as observable in early child education settings. After statistical analysis of the preliminary survey data and content validity by experts, 630 children were recruited for the main survey. Exploratory factor analysis for the validation of the final draft explained 68.94% of all of the variables. The nineteen elements are: self-esteem, self-regulation, vitality and positivity, flexibility, aesthetic sensibility, relationship, creativity, learning motivation, physical exercise, art, music, logic and math, exploration of nature, language, body and health, play, courtesy, cleaning, organizing and frugality, and safety. These findings demonstrate the reliability and validity of the Early Childhood Strength Scales with regard to item difficulty and discrimination, internal consistency reliability, and test-retest reliability, as well as construct validity and concurrent validity.
