유아 대상 생태프로그램 효과에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 대상 생태프로그램의 효과를 살펴보기 위하여 국내 학위논문 및 학술지논문을 대상으로 체계적 문헌고찰과 메타분석을 실시하였다. ‘생태유아교육’이라는 키워드로 검색을 실시하여 제목, 초록, 전문, 문헌의 질 평가 등의 단계를 거쳐 최종 14편의 분석대상 논문을 선정하였다. 연구결과, 분석대상 논문 대부분이 2006년 이후 발간되었으며, 대상은 만 5세, 집단은 20명 이하, 중재기간은 8주 이상 중재를 실시한 경우가 가장 많았다. 둘째, 유아 대상 생태프로그램의 전체 평균 효과크기는 큰 효과크기를 보였으며, 자연친화적 태도 및 생명존중 인식이 가장 높게 나타났다. 유아 대상 생태프로그램의 조절변수 중 연구 간 효과크기의 차이를 설명해주는 변수는 중재자, 유아 연령, 중재기간인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 결과에 기초하여 유아 대상 생태프로그램의 적용 방안에 대한 구체적인 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, a systematic literature review and meta-analysis were carried out as related papers to examine the effects of a children’s ecological program. For the selection of analytical literature, the search was conducted with the keyword “children s eco-education,” and the final 14 papers were selected through the stages of title, abstract, specialty, and quality evaluation of 1,131 papers retrieved for the first time. The results were as follows. First, most of the papers were published since 2006, and most were under 5 years old, 20 peoples or less, and with 6–10 weeks intervention. Second, the overall effect size of the eco-related program for children showed a large effect size, and it was higher in the order of nature-friendly attitude and life-esteem recognition, social-emotional development, scientific inquiry ability, and creative personality. The variables that explain the differences in the effect sizes of the research among the control variables of the ecological program for infants are the mediator, children’s age, and intervention period. Based on the results of this study, specific implications for the application of ecological programs for infants were derived.
