교사가 인식하는 공업계 고등학생들의 직업기초능력에 대한 교육요구도

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 공업계 고등학교 학생들에게 필요한 직업기초능력의 교육 요구도를 구명하여, 이들의 직업기초능력 향상에 도움을 주고자 수행되었다. 연구의 대상은 공업계 고등학교 교사209명 이었고, 측정 도구는 정철영 외(2001)가 개발한 것을 전문가 집단의 자문을 받아 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정하여 사용하였다. 자료의 처리는 직업기초능력의 수준 및 중요도에 대한 평균을 조사하였고, 교육요구도는 Borich의 교육 요구도 계산 공식을 이용하여 구하였다. 연구의 결과 말하기 능력, 자원계획능력, 통계와 확률에 대한 계산능력, 업무이해능력, 대안적용능력, 기술적용능력, 갈등관리능력, 정보분석능력, 성취동기에 대한 교육 요구도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과에 따르면 문제해결능력 중 대안적용능력(교육요구도=6.07)과 자기관리 및 개발능력 중 안전의식(교육요구도=6.81)의 교육요구도가 다른 영역의 교육요구도에 비하여 매우 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 이러한 능력의 수준을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램의 개발과 함께 공업계 고등학교 교육과정 내에서 직업기초능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study is conducted to find out the educational needs for the key competency necessary to technical high school students and help to improve their key competencies. The subjects for the study were 209 teachers at technical high school, and the measuring tool was the one developed by Chung, Chul-young and others (in 2001) which was used after revision as per the advice of the professional group. For process of the material was investigated based on level and importance of the key competency. The degree of the educational needs were assessed by the calculating equation of Borich for the degree of educational needs. As a result of study, the educational needs for speaking skill, resource planning skill, computation skill for statistics and probability, work apprehension skill, alternative plan skill, technology application skill, struggle management skill, information analysis skill and motivation are high. According to the study result, alternative plan skill (the educational needs = 6.07) among problem solving skills , and safety awareness among self-management and self-development skill(the educational needs = 6.81) are higher compare to other areas in the educational needs. Therefore, in order to improve the level of such skills, along with development of necessary programs, further development of various programs to improve the key competency in the technical high school curriculum is needed.
