두 개의 국제 전문 학술지 분석을 통해서 본 기술교과 교육 연구 동향 : 1997-2006

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 학습자 개인의 다양한 지적 능력을 파악할 수 있는 다중지능이 성별에 따라 기술적 문제해결력에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는가를 조사하여, 성별에 따른 기술적 문제해결력의 차이를 줄이기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이 연구는 국제적으로 기술교과 교육 연구를 주도하고 있는JT E와 IJTDE의 분석을 통하여 1997년부터 2006년까지의 기술교과 교육 연구 동향을 파악할 목적으로 내용분석법에 의하여 수행되었다. 연구의 결과로부터 얻은 결론은 첫째, 연구 주제나 연구 방법 면에서 한쪽으로 편중된 경향이 있었으며, 둘째, 단독 연구 논문이 두 배 정도나 더 많았으나 연도별 추이를 보면, 공동 연구가 차지하는 비율이 미세하긴 하지만 점차 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있었다. 셋째, 연구자의 직업은 교수가 주류를 이루고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 소속 국가 분석 결과 JTE보다는 IJTDE의 경우, 더 많은 국가의 연구자들이 참여하였다. 넷째, 연구 영역은 교수ㆍ학습 방법, 교과 태도ㆍ인식 등의 영역에 편중되었고, 교과교육 내용의 개발이나 교육 행정, 교육 평가 등의 연구는 충분히 이루어지지 않고 있었다. 추후에는 구체적인 관점에서 항목별로 세부적인 연구가 필요하다. 특히, 석ㆍ박사 학위 논문이나 학술대회 발표 논문 등을 포괄하는 자료를 수집하여 분석할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to examine research trends in Technology Education from 1997 through 2006 based at analysis of two international journals and to make some suggestions for future research. Data retrieved from 88 journal articles of JTE and 153 journal artcles of IJTDE were analyzed for the study. The major items such as publication date, authors’ job and state affiliation, research field, research methodology, and the subject of study. Some major findings and suggestions were made such as follows; First, although proportion of single researcher thesis were high compared with multiple researchers thesis, proportion of single researcher thesis was gradually decreasing year by year. In future, more co-work research should be made for the development of research. Second, main author of journal articles was professor, and main research methods were literature review and survey. In future, other researchers should be affiliated and other various research method should be applied. Third, study was focused at teaching and learning methods, attitude and recognition of technology education. So, more research at the area of educational contents development, educational administration should be made for the well-balanced. Fourth, this study about research trend of technology education was approached at comprehensive view point, but in future, specific research such as methodology, the subject of study should be made microscopically.
