국문 초록

이 연구에서는 경기도 일반계 고등학교 기술ㆍ가정과 관련 선택과목의 운영 실태와 필수과목과의 연계성을 조사ㆍ분석하여 선택과목의 효과적인 운영을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술ㆍ가정과 관련 선택과목별 운영 유무에 대해 일반선택과목(정보사회와 컴퓨터)은 도교육청 지정 과목으로 운영되어 이수 비율이 91.5%로 나타났다. 그리고 정보사회와 컴퓨터는 기술교육 및 가정교육 전공교사가 담당하는 비율이 18.2%로 이수 비율과 상당한 차이를 보여 대부분 컴퓨터 관련 전공 교사가 담당하는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 기술ㆍ가정과 관련 선택과목의 개설 및 운영에 대한 의견으로 이수 비율이 저조하더라도 선택 교육과정의 취지를 살리기 위해 유지하는 것이 바람직하다는 의견에 대해 70.7%가 ‘그렇다’고 응답하였다. 셋째, 기술ㆍ가정과 관련 선택과목의 이수단위에 대해 ‘이수단위 현행 유지’에 정보사회와 컴퓨터는 61.6%, 가정과학은 43.4%로 나타났다. 넷째, 기술ㆍ가정과 관련 선택과목의 선택을 위한 의견으로 선택 과목 이수 비율을 높이기 위한 제도적인 보완이 필요하다는 의견에 대해8 4.8%가 ‘그렇다’고 응답하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to offer the fundamental data to operate the Elective Courses efficiently by investigating the curriculum implementation for Elective Courses related with TechnologyㆍHome Economics in general high schools of Gyeonggi-do. The relevance to TechnologyㆍHome Economics with Elective Courses was also studied, and furthermore, reforming the Elective Courses in curriculum of general high school was proposed. The main results of this study are as follows: (1) 91.5% of high schools have chosen the subjects related with TechnologyㆍHome Economics as a General Elective Courses under the operating guidelines of Gyeonggi-do provincial office of education. And only 18.2% of teachers who majored in Technology or Home Economics have been taught Information Society and Computer subject. (2) 70.7% of the respondents agreed that school authorities maintain the existing an Elective Courses to operate the 7th Curriculum successfully even though only a few school choose the subject related with TechnologyㆍHome Economics as an Elective Courses. (3) 61.6% of respondents of Information Society and Computer subject and 43.4% of respondents of Home Science subject wanted to maintain the unit of the Elective Courses like a current curriculum, respectively. (4) 84.8% of the respondents pointed out that the reforming Elective Courses is necessary to raise the rate of choosing in the Elective Courses.
