독일, 미국, 호주의 기술교육 목표와 내용 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 독일ㆍ미국ㆍ호주의 기술교육 목표와 내용을 분석함으로서, 우리나라의 기술교육과정을 개발할 때 방향설정을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 그러므로 이 연구는 독일의 기술교육과 미국의 ITEA에서 개발한 STL (Standards for Technology Literacy)을 대상으로 하였으며, 호주는 New South Wales주의 기술교육을 대상으로 문헌연구를 하였다. 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 3개국의 기술교육 목표를 분석한 결과, 공통적으로 ‘기술이 사회ㆍ환경에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 능력과 문제를 창의적으로 해결하고 관리하는 능력 함양’을 중요시하고 있었다. 2. 3개국의 기술교육 내용은 인간적 영역ㆍ기술적 영역ㆍ환경적 영역으로 구생되어 있었다. 3. 3개국의 기술교육 내용 분석에서 인간적 영역은 ‘기술이 사회에 미치는 영향, 직업세계, 합리적인 의사결정, 건강과 안전성, 지식과 정보’ 등으로 구성되어 있었다. 기술적 영역은 ‘기술시스템의 구조와 발달, 문재해결과정’으로 구성되어 있었다. 환경적 영역은 ‘기술과 환경의 균형, 기술이 환경에 미치는 영향, 환경에 책임질 수 있는 행동, 생태계’등으로 구성되어 있었다. 이 연구를 통해 기술교육에서 ‘기술적 영역’과 함께 ‘인간적 영역’과 ‘환경적 영역’도 중요한 영역임을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was analyzing the objectives and the contents of technology in Germany, America and Australia, and producing the basic data for the technology education curriculum in Korea. Therefore, the study was conducted through literature research on the technology education in Germany, the STL that was presented by ITEA in America, and the technology education in New South Wales in Australia. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. The result of analyzing the purpose of three nations was that the ability of evaluating the effect of the technology on the society and the environment, the ability of solving and managing problems creatively were important in the technology commonly. 2. the contents of technology education in three countries is divided into the personal area, the technical area and the environmental area. 3. In the contents of technology education, the personal area is composed the effect of the technology on the society, the occupations world, the rational decision, the health and the safety, and knowledge and information. the technical area is composed the construct and the development of the technology system, and the problem-solving process. the environmental area is composed the balance of the technology and the environment, the effects of the technology on the environment, the responsible behavior for the environment and the ecology. Through the study, the personal area and the environmental area is important with the technical area in the technology education.
