국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 디지털미디어 지도방식 및 유형에 따른 유아의 디지털미디어 이용시간 및 이야기이해력 차이를 분석하는데 있다. 본 연구는 서울, 경기, 충북에 소재한 어린이집 및 유치원 8개소에 재원 중인 만 4, 5세 유아 111명과 그들의 어머니 111명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 디지털미디어 지도방식에서 온정성이 높을 때 유아가 단독으로 디지털미디어를 이용하는 시간이 유의하게 짧았다. 또한, 어머니의 디지털미디어 지도유형에 따라 유아의 디지털미디어 이용시간의 유의한 차이는 없었다. 둘째, 어머니의 디지털미디어 지도방식에서 통제성이 높은 집단의 유아가 사실적 회상 점수가 유의하게 높으며, 온정성이 높은 집단의 유아는 이야기이해력 점수 모두가 유의하게 높았다. 또한, 어머니의 지도유형에 있어서 권위형인 어머니의 자녀가 방임형인 어머니의 자녀에 비해 사실적 회상 및 이야기이해력 총점이 유의하게 높았다. 결론적으로 어머니의 디지털미디어 지도방식, 유형에 따라 유아의 디지털미디어 이용시간과 이해력은 차이가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference of children s digital media usage time and story comprehension according to mother s digital media parenting style and type. This study was conducted on 111 children aged 4 and 5 years old and their mothers in 8 nursery schools and kindergartens in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungbuk. The results of this study are as follows. First, when mothers had high warmth in their digital media parenting, the time for children to use digital media alone was significantly shorter. In addition, there was no significant difference in the use time of children s digital media according to the type of mother s digital media parenting. Second, according to the mother s digital media parenting, the scores of the factual recall were significantly higher in the children with high control, and the scores of the storytelling scores were higher in the children with higher warmth. In addition, the children of the authoritative mother were significantly higher in their total recall and story comprehension than the children of the neglected mother. In conclusion, according to the mother s digital media parenting style and types, the media use time and story comprehension of children are different.
