강점 키우기를 통한 유아의 인성역량 함양 프로그램 개발 및 효과

국문 초록

제 4차 산업혁명 시대의 인간에게 필요한 것은 인간의 본성과 밀접히 관련된 인성역량이며 이는 인간 삶의 기본이 되므로 유아기부터 인성교육이 제대로 이루어져야 한다. 인성교육은 개인의 도덕적 가치 실현을 위한 실천 의지를 높이고 긍정심리학에 기반 한 강점을 활용함으로써 더 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있다. 본 연구는 강점 키우기를 통한 유아의 인성역량 함양 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하였다. 만 5세 유아 28명을 대상으로 단일집단 사전사후 설계를 구성하였으며, 수집된 자료는 평균과 표준편차를 구하고 차이검증을 위해 대응표본 t-검정을 실시하였으며 자료 분석은 SPSS 23.0을 이용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 인성역량 함양 프로그램의 유아 강점 키우기 주요활동으로 유아 강점 찾기, 행복나무 꾸미기, 강점이름 짓기, 친구 찾기 수수께끼, 강점을 활용한 성공경험 이야기, 강점 찾아주기, 강점 활용 동극, 강점 골든벨, 감사편지(일기) 쓰기, 강점자화상 등이 있다. 둘째, 강점 키우기를 통한 유아의 인성역량 함양 프로그램은 유아의 인성역량을 함양하는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

As the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution comes, human needs are character competences closely related to human nature. It is the ability to be the basis of human life, so character education should be done early childhood. Character education can be said to be more effective when one increases one’s will to practice the moral values cherished by individuals, which can be done more effectively by utilizing the strengths based on positive psychology. The purpose of this study was to develope and to examine the effectiveness of the program. For this purpose, twenty-eight 5-year-old children attending kindergartens were constructed with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The collected data were averaged and standard deviation, and the paired t-test was used. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0. The results of this study are as follows: First, the Character Competencies Raising Program by Promoting the Strengths of children have the following main activities. Those are ‘finding one’s strengths’, ‘to make a happy tree’, ‘strengths naming’, ‘the riddle to find a friend’, ‘success stories using strengths’, ‘the strengths of friends in fairy tales’, ‘the play utilizing strengths’, the golden bell of strengths, writing thank-you letters (diary), ‘self-portrait expressing strengths’. Second, this program was found to be effective in raising the character competences of children.
