통계적 추론에 대한 관찰평가도구 개발

국문 초록

현대 정보화 사회에서 불확실성을 이해하는 도구로 통계에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 통계교육에 대한 관심도 높아지고 있다. 그러나 국내 통계교육 연구의 양이 매우 부족할 뿐만 아니라 통계교육의 목적인 통계적 추론을 평가하는 방법이나 평가도구 개발과 관련된 연구가 거의 없어 교사들이 학생들의 통계적 추론을 평가하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 통계적 추론의 평가방법으로 관찰평가를 선택하고 문헌 검토를 통해 관찰점검목록표, 관찰평가과제, 관찰평가기준표, 관찰기록지를 개발하는 과정을 기술함으로써 현장 교사들이 과정 중심 평가를 계획하고 평가도구를 구체화하는데 실질적인 시사를 주고자 하였다.

영문 초록

As attention to statistics increases as a tool for understanding uncertainty in modern information society, numerous research have also been interested in the importance of statistics education. However there are not many domestic statistics education studies and there are few studies related to the development of instruments or methods for assessing statistical reasoning. For such reasons, mathematics teachers have a lot of limitations assessing students statistical reasoning. Therefore this study aimed to develop instruments required for assessing students statistical reasoning through observing their performance. In order to achieve the aim, this study analysed previous literature relevant to statistical reasoning or statistics education assessment. As a result this study developed ‘observational assessment inspection table’, ‘observational assessment tasks’, ‘observational assessment criteria table’ and ‘observational assessment checklist’ in the light of the literature analysis. This study provided several implications for teachers while their developing instruments for observational assessment or implementing process-focused assessment.
