국문 초록

이 연구는 MZ세대 부모의 자녀가 영유아교육기관을 이용하면서 경험한 내용과 선호 경향을 질적으로 분석하여 개방적이고 맞춤형으로 MZ세대 부모와 소통하는 열린 어린이집을 운영하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구의 대상은 D광역시의 S어린이집에 재원한 8명의 학부모를 중심으로 7명의 어머니와 1명의 아버지가 참여하였다. 총 4회 개별면담과 집단면담, 추가면담을 통해 얻어진 97쪽의 전사본을 지속적인 비교 분석을 통해 주제어와 개념을 도출하였다. 분석 결과, MZ세대 부모의 영유아교육기관에 대한 기대와 요구로 구분하였다. 기대 부분에는 영유아교사상, 부모와 교사 소통방법, 자녀는 기관 이용 부모는 내 삶 추구로 정리하였으며, 요구 부분에는 기관 선택의 기준, 이용 이유, 다양한 일상 체험과 놀이프로그램으로 도출하였다. 어린이집의 교육부 이관으로 유보통합 모델기관을 구축해가는 시점에서, MZ세대 부모의 비중이 증가하고 있으며 이 연구는 향후 부모의 요구와 기대를 반영한 새로운 영유아교육기관 모델을 구축하는데 참고 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the experiences of children of the MZ generation using infant education institutions or daycare centers, and qualitatively analyzed the preferences for institutional operation using in-depth interviews. Seven mothers and one father participated in the in-depth interviews, centering on eight parents who applied to S daycare center in D metropolitan city. As a result of deriving the subject words and concepts through continuous comparative analysis, a total of 97 pages of interview transcripts were classified into expectations and demands of MZ generation parents for infant education institutions. The expectation part was analyzed as infant teacher, how to communicate with parents, and the child as the parent using the institution pursued life in my life, and the demand part was derived as the criteria for institution selection, reason for use, and various daily experiences and various play programs. As the proportion of MZ generation parents expands due to the transfer of daycare centers to the Ministry of Education in 2024, it can be used as a reference material in the process of establishing a new model for infant education institutions.
