국문 초록

본 연구는 영화 <82년생 김지영>을 중심으로 한국과 중국의 젠더 담론을 비교 분석한다. 영화는 2019년 개봉 이후, 한국 사회에서 큰 사회적 반향을 일으켰고, 여성의 젠더 불평등을 그리며 공감과 논쟁을 불러일으켰다. 본 연구는 한국과 중국에서 영화가 어떻게 해석되었는지, 젠더 담론의 공통점과 차이점, 그리고 이들 차이가 사회적 맥락에서 어떤 의미를 가지는지를 분석한다. 연구 결과, 한국은 경력 단절과 성차별, 가족 구조 내 성 역할 갈등이 주요담론으로 나타났으며, 영화는 이러한 사회적 이슈를 공론화하고 변화를 촉진하는 역할을 했다. 반면, 중국은 사회주의 이념과 전통적 유교 문화의 영향을받아 젠더 문제를 다루는 방식에 차이를 보였다. 이 연구는 한국과 중국의 젠더 담론의 차이를 사회적, 문화적 배경과 연계하여 탐구하며, 동아시아 젠더담론의 복잡성을 조망한다.

영문 초록

This study compares and analyzes gender discourses in South Korea and China through the film “Kim Ji-young, Born 1982”. Since its release in 2019, the film has caused a significant social impact in South Korea, depicting gender inequality experienced by women and sparking both empathy and debate. This study analyzes how the film has been interpreted in both countries, the commonalities and differences in gender discourse, and the significance of these differences within their respective social contexts. The results of the study show that in South Korea, key discourses include career interruptions, gender discrimination, and conflicts over gender roles within the family structure, with the film playing a role in publicizing these social issues and promoting change. In contrast, in China, gender issues are approached differently due to the influence of socialist ideology and traditional Confucian culture. This study explores the differences in gender discourse between South Korea and China in relation to their social and cultural backgrounds, offering a view of the complexity of East Asian gender discourses.
