국문 초록

연구목적 이 연구는 장애아동의 놀 권리에 대한 보호자의 인식과 경험을 조사하고, 포용적 설계에 기반한 통합놀이터 활성화를 위한 방안을 탐구하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 장애아동 보호자 118명, 비장애아동 보호자 544명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 보호자들은 놀이의 중요성을 인식했으나, 아동의 놀 권리 인지도는 낮았다. 장애아동 보호자들은 놀이터를 이용하며 장애아동용 놀이기구 부족과 또래 통합의 어려움을 주요 불편으로 지적했으며, 이는 통합놀이터 활성화의 필요성을 부각시켰다. 하지만 대다수가 통합놀이터의 인식과 경험은 없었다. 두 집단 모두 통합놀이터 활성화를 위해 가장 중요한 요소로 안전한 환경 조성을 지목하였다. 결론 이 연구의 연구 결과를 토대로 아동의 놀 권리 인식 제고와 통합놀이터 활성화 방안을 논의 및 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose This study aimed to investigate caregivers’ perceptions and experiences regarding the right to play for children with disabilities and to explore strategies for promoting inclusive playgrounds. Method An online survey was conducted with 118 caregivers of children with disabilities and 544 caregivers of children without disabilities. Results While caregivers recognized the importance of play, their level of awareness of children’s right to play was low. Caregivers of children with disabilities identified the lack of play equipment designed for children with disabilities and difficulties in peer integration as major challenges when using playgrounds, highlighting the need to promote inclusive playgrounds. However, the majority were unfamiliar with or lacked experience with inclusive playgrounds. Both groups identified the creation of a safe environment as the most critical factor for enhancing inclusive playgrounds. Conclusion Based on the findings of this study, The author argued for the development of strategies for enhancing awareness of children’s right to play and promoting inclusive playgrounds.
