국문 초록

연구목적 본 연구의 목적은 특수교육대상자 가족의 삶의 질에 대한 인식을 확인하고 집단별 차이를 밝히는 것이다. 연구방법 2주기 특수교육 종단조사에 참여한 1800명 패널의 보호자가 응답한 결과를 장애유형, 배치유형, 학교급에 따라 비교하여 집단별 차이를 살펴보았다. 연구결과 전체적인 삶의 질에 대한 인식은 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 정서및행동장애 학생보다 청각장애 학생의 가족이 삶의 질에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 보였고 특수학교에 비해 일반학교 학생의 가족이 삶의 질에 대한 만족이 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 학교급에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었으나 고등학교 학생 가족의 삶의질에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타나 장애유형, 배치유형, 학교급을 고려한 가족 삶의 질 향상을 위한 지원이필요함을 알 수 있었다. 결론 후속연구를 통해 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인을 파악하고 특수교육대상자의 개별 요구에 맞는 가족 지원 방안을 마련할 필요가 있음을 주장하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose The purpose of this study was to examine perceptions of the quality of life among families of special education students and ide ntify differences across groups. Methods The data from 1,800 families participating in the second cycle of the Special Education Longitudinal Survey were analyzed and compared based on disability type, placement type, and school level. Results: Overall, families of special education students reported a quality of life that was above average. Specifically, families of students with hearing impairments showed more positive perceptions compared to families of students with emotional and behavioral disorders. Similarly, families of students in general schools reported higher satisfaction about quality of life than those in special schools. While there were no statistically significant differences based on school level, families of high school students expressed higher satisfaction about quality of life compared to other levels. Conclusion This study highlights the need for family support systems that take into account disability type, placement type, and school level to enhance the quality of life for families. It emphasized the importance of future research to identify various factors affecting quality of life and to develop tailored support programs for families of students with disabilities, considering their individual differences.
