국문 초록

연구목적 본 연구는 A 광역시 지체장애인의 평생교육 참여 현황을 파악하고, 참여에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 지체장애인의 평생교육 접근성 향상을 위한 정책적 개선 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법 A 광역시에 거주하는 지체장애인 168명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS 20.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계 분석, 독립변인 t검정, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 A 광역시 지체장애인의 평생교육 참여율은 31.5%로 나타났으며, 문화예술 향유 프로그램이 가장 높은 참여율을 보였다. 평생교육 참여에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로는 이동능력, 교육수준, 가족 지지도, 경제활동 여부 등이 확인되었다. 결론 지체장애인의 평생교육 참여 활성화를 위해 물리적 접근성 개선, 맞춤형 프로그램 개발, 재정적 지원 강화, 인적 지원 체계 구축 등이 필요하다. 특히 이동능력 향상과 가족 지지도 증진을 위한 집중적인 지원이 요구된다.

영문 초록

Purpose This study aimed to examine the current state of lifelong education participation among individuals with physical disabilities in A Metropolitan City and to analyze the factors influencing their engagement. Based on these findings, this study sought to propose policy enhancements to improve accessibility to lifelong education for individuals with physical disabilities. Method A survey was conducted with 168 individuals with physical disabilities residing in A Metropolitan City. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 20.0 for frequency, descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, and logistic regression analysis. Results The participation rate in lifelong education for individuals with physical disabilities in A Metropolitan City was 31.5%, with cultural and arts programs demonstrating the highest participation rate. Significant factors influencing participation in lifelong education include mobility, educational attainment, familial support, and status of economic activity. Conclusion To facilitate participation in lifelong education for individuals with physical disabilities, enhancement of physical accessibility, development of specialized programs, augmented financial support, and establishment of human resource support systems are imperative. Specifically, comprehensive support to improve mobility and strengthen family support mechanisms is essential.
