국문 초록

본 연구는 UN의 SDGs와 텍스타일디자인 산업의 유사도를 분석하는 방법에 초점을 두었다. 뉴스 데이터를 수집하여 분석하고 텍스트 마이닝을 통해 연구하였으며, 구체적으로 빅데이터를 활용하여 텍스타일디자인의 글로벌 이슈를 정량적으로 파악하고 주요한 지속가능성 영역과 동향을 식별한 후 이를 환경, 사회, 경제적 측면으로 분류하여 빈도수를 분류하였다. 그리고 데이터 정제, 문서 벡터화, 문서 유사도 점수 산출, 결과의 시각화 과정으로 텍스타일디자인 산업의 지속가능성과 SDGs의 유사도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 유사도 평균점수 36.93, 표준편차 13.59로 나타났으며 각 범주의 평균값은 환경 38.16, 사회 36.97, 경제 35.41로 균형을 맞춘 형태로 산출되었다. 이는 텍스타일디자인 산업에서 환경 보호와 노동자의 권리, 윤리적 관행 등이 경제적 이익보다 조금 더 중요한 우선순위임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구는 객관적이고 정량적인 데이터를 제공하여 SDGs와 관련된 논의나 판단을 뒷받침함으로써 텍스타일디자인 산업에서의 디자인뿐만 아니라 투자, 연구개발 및 마케팅 전략 등을 수립하는데 있어서 큰 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 텍스타일디자인 산업의 기업인과 디자이너들에게 유용한 지침을 제공하고 지속가능한 텍스타일디자인에 관한 향후 연구의 기반을 마련한다는 점에서 학문적 의미를 가질 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on analyzing the similarity between the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the textile design industry. By collecting and analyzing news data and employing text mining techniques, the research quantitatively identifies global issues in textile design using big data and identifies key sustainability areas and trends. These were categorized into environmental, social, and economic aspects and their frequencies were analyzed. The similarity between the sustainability of the textile design industry and the SDGs was then analyzed through the processes of data refinement, document vectorization, similarity score calculation, and visualization of the results. The findings revealed an average similarity score of 36.93 with a standard deviation of 13.59. The average scores for each category were 38.16 for the environment, 36.97 for society, and 35.41 for the economy, indicating a balanced emphasis across these areas. This suggests that in the textile design industry, environmental protection, workers' rights, and ethical practices are prioritized slightly more than economic benefits. This research provides objective and quantitative data that can support discussions and decision-making related to the SDGs, playing a significant role not only in the design process but also in investment, research and development, and marketing strategies within the textile design industry. Additionally, it offers valuable guidelines for industry professionals and designers and lays a foundation for future research on sustainable textile design, holding academic significance.
