국문 초록

세계 각국은 미래사회에서 성공하기 위한 학습자들에게 필요한 역량을 기르기 위한 교육과정 개혁을 추진하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 핵심역량 함양 교육의 의미를 살펴보고, 핵심역량 함양을 위한 미술교과역량 및 기준을 탐색하는 데 있다. 우선 (핵심)역량, 그리고 핵심역량 함양 교육의 의미, 핵심역량 및 교과역량이 교육과정에 제시되는 방식을 살펴본다. 이어서 핵심역량 함양을 위한 미술교과역량을 다음의 7개로 범주화하고 역량별 기준을 제시하였다: 미적 감수성, 시각적 소통능력, 문화예술 이해 및 인문학적 사고, 재료·도구·매체의 사용 능력, 문제 제기 및 해결을 위한 탐구 능력, 창의·융합적 사고력, 개인의 정체성과 공동체 의식. 이 연구를 통해 역량 함양을 위한 미술교육 내용 요소를 총체적으로 정리해 봄으로써 기존 교육에서 소홀히 여겼던 내용을 반성하고, 미술교육을 통한 역량 교육 수업 설계 방향에 대한 인식을 높일 수 있다.

영문 초록

Today, in setting the direction of national education, it is a global trend to introduce and emphasize the concept of (core) competencies and to place it at the center of the educational purpose. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of core competencies cultivating education, and to explore the art subject competencies and standards to develop core competencies. First, we examine (core) competencies and the meaning of core competencies cultivating education. Then, it was derived by categorizing it into art subject competencies for cultivating core competencies: aesthetic sensitivity, visual communication skills, understanding culture and art and humanities thinking, ability to use materials, tools, and media, inquiry ability to pose and solve problems, creativity and convergence thinking, individual identity and sense of community. By arranging the elements of art education for competencies development as a whole, it is possible to reflect on the content neglected in existing education and to raise awareness of the design direction of competencies training classes through art education.
