국문 초록

본 연구는 장기요양서비스를 이용하는 노인이 인식하는 서비스의 질이 이용만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 요양보호사의 정서적 지원이 이용자가 인식하는 서비스 질과 이용만족도 간의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는지를 규명하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시 및 경기도 지역의 장기요양기관을 이용하는 노인 319명의 자료를 SPSS 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 상관관계 분석, 그리고 위계적 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장기요양서비스 질은 이용만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장기요양서비스 질은 정서적 지원에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 요양보호사의 정서적 지원은 이용만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 요양보호사의 정서적 지원은 서비스 질과 이용만족도 간의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 근거하여, 장기요양서비스의 질 향상과 요양보호사의 정서적 지원 역량을 높여 이용 노인들의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the impact of elderly users' perceptions of service quality in long-term care services on their satisfaction, and to determine whether emotional support provided by care workers mediates the relationship between perceived service quality and user satisfaction. To achieve this, a survey was conducted with 319 elderly individuals using long-term care facilities in Seoul and Gyeong-gi Province. Data were analyzed using SPSS, including frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The key findings are as follows: first, the quality of long-term care services significantly affects user satisfaction. Second, the quality of long-term care services has a significant influence on emotional support. Third, emotional support provided by care workers has a substantial impact on user satisfaction. Finally, emotional support was found to mediate the relationship between service quality and user satisfaction. Based on these results, the study discusses strategies for improving the quality of long-term care services and enhancing care workers' emotional support capabilities to increase elderly users' satisfaction.
