명사의 속성과 체언의 양범주 분석

국문 초록

본문은 최근 중국어 연구에서 화두로 떠오르는 ‘양범주’ 이론을 통해, 품사분류의 기준으로 작용하는 의미범주나 어법범주가 어떻게 양화(量化)되어 나타나는지를 명사의 속성 대립을 통해 간략히 고찰해 보았다. 본래 ‘양범주’ 분석은 실사의 속성을 기반으로 범주를 분석한 것으로, 명사의 공간성과 동사의 시간성, 그리고 형용사의 정도성을 제시하고 있다. 중국어에서는 개별 단어의 품사 경계가 모호함으로, 본문에서 제시하는 명사의 양범주는 구문에서 체언으로 기능하는 성분이 어떻게 양화(量化)되어 명사성을 드러내는지를 의미와 기능으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 또 체언의 속성 양범주인 공간성을 구성하는 ‘공간량’과 ‘물량’이 실제 구문에서 어떻게 인지되는지를 ‘방위사와 ‘양사’의 대비분석을 통해 접근해 보았다.

영문 초록

This paper briefly examines how semantic categories and grammatical categories, which serve as the standard for part-of-speech classification, are quantified through the theory of “quantity category”. “Quantity category” is the emerging topic in chinese linguistics for categorizing part-of-speech Attributes. The ‘quantity category’ analysis presents the spatiality of nouns, the temporality of verbs, and the degree of adjectives, based on the properties of real sentences. However, in Chinese, the boundaries between of parts of speech for individual words are ambiguous, so the quantitative categories of a substantive presented in this text are analyzed with a focus on denominations, and the process of quantification from phrases to a substitutive with noun properties is examined by dividing them into meaning and function.In addition, spatiality, which is an attribute of a noun, is largely divided into ‘space quantity’ and ‘object quantity’, and in actual phrases, azimuth words and quantity, which are category cover of space quantity, were examined by contrasting them with ‘quantifiers’, which is category cover of object quantity. In addition, we approached how ‘space quantity’ and ‘volume’, which constitute spatiality, which are both attributes of a noun, are recognized in actual phrases, through a comparative analysis of ‘direction’ and ‘quantity’.
