국문 초록

본 연구는 한 야투 자연미술가의 자연과 미술, 인간 바라봄에 대한 경험의 의미를 이해하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 내러티브 탐구 방법으로 질적 연구를 진행하였다. 주된 분석 자료는 야투 자연미술가 고승현과의 인터뷰 5회 15시간의 전사 텍스트이다. 연구자는 연구 참여자의 경험을 자연과 미술, 인간 세 가지 상위 범주로 도출하여 통찰로서 분석, 해석하였다. 자연은 ‘관계 맺음의 자연’으로, 미술은 ‘시각 미술의 지경을 넓혀 야투다운 미술로’, 인간은 ‘자연에서 배우며 성찰하는 인간으로’의 의미이다. 그리고 연구자는 한 야투 자연미술가의 경험의 의미를 미술교육적으로 연결지어 이해하였다. 첫째, 자연은 미술과 교육과정에서 지속적이며 무한성을 지닌 미적 체험의 대상이며, 둘째, 미술은 미술과 교육과정에서 ‘자연과 나’의 협력으로 이루어질 수 있으며, 셋째, 학습자는 미술과 교육과정에서 인간이란 자연과 함께 공존하다 자연으로 돌아가는 존재임을 이해한다. 그리하여 야투 자연미술은 미술과 교육과정에서 새로운 미술 방법으로 수용되는 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand the meaning of a Yatoo nature artist's experience on nature, art, and human. To this end, a qualitative study was conducted using the narrative inquiry method. The primary source of analysis is 15 hours of transcribed text from five interviews with Yatoo nature artist, Ko Seung-hyun. The researcher has analyzed and interpreted the experiences of the research participant into three broad categories: nature, art, and human. Nature is interpreted as ‘nature in relationship’, art is interpreted as ‘expanding the horizons of visual art to become like Yatoo-art’, and human is interpreted as ‘a human who is reflective and learns from nature’. The researcher understood the meaning of the experience of Yatoo nature artist, Ko Seung-hyun in terms of art education. As a result, First, nature is a continuous and infinite object of aesthetic experience in art curriculum. Second, art is a collaboration between ‘nature and I’ in art curriculum. Third, learners understand that human beings coexist with nature and return to nature in art curriculum. Therefore, Yatoo nature art holds meaning as a new art method in art curriculum.
