발달장애 학생의 성인기 전환에 필요한 지원 요소 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수학급 교사 인식을 중심으로 발달장애 학생의 성인기 전환에 필요한 지원 요소를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이에 특정 주제에 대한 개념적 틀을 마련하는데 효과적인 개념도 방법을 적용하여 지원 요소에 대한 차원과 군집 및 중요도를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 15명의 특수교사가 인터뷰에 참여하여 아이디어를 도출하였으며, 61개의 진술문을 확정하였다. 또한, 진술문에 대한 인식을 살펴보기 위해 20명의 특수교사를 대상으로 유사성 분류 및 중요도 평정 작업을 수행하였다. 다차원척도 분석 결과, 1차원은 ‘학습자 중심-공급자 중심’, 2차원은 ‘학교밀착형-사회연계형’으로 나타났다. 또한, 군집분석 결과 4개의 군집과 7개의 하위 군집이 도출되었으며, 각 군집은 ‘종적 연계성을 고려한 맞춤형 전환교육과정 운영’, ‘학교중심 지원체계 역량강화’, ‘사회적 지원 시스템 구축’, ‘학생역량을 강화하는 현장중심 교육’으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 중요도의 경우 실제적 교육지원과 관련된 내용들의 중요도가 높게 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 특수교사가 인식하는 발달장애 학생의 성인기 전환에 필요한 지원 요소가 갖는 의의와 연구의 제한점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the this study is to explore the special education teachers’ perception of the support elements for transition from school to adulthood of students with developmental disabilities. Accordingly, the concept mapping method, effective in establishing the conceptual framework of a group for a particular topic, is used to confirm the dimensions, clusters, and importance of support elements for the transition form school to adulthood of students with developmental disabilities. In this study, 15 special education teachers participated in interviews to derive ideas for the topic, and finally 61 statements were confirmed. In order to examine the special education teacher’s perception of the statement, similarity classification and importance rating task were performed on 20 special education teachers. As a result of the multi-dimensional scale analysis, two dimensions were found to be appropriate, the first dimension was ‘learner-centered - provided-centered’ and the second dimension was ‘school-closed - society-connected’. In addition, as a result of the cluster analysis, four clusters and seven sub-clusters have been drawn, and each cluster was ‘implementation of the curriculum for the transition considering longitudinal linkage‘, ‘competency reinforcement of school-centered support system’, ‘establishment of social support system’, ‘practical education that strengthens students’ competency’. Lastly, the importance of the statement related to the actual educational support was found to be high. Based on the result, the implication of the support elements necessary for the transition to adulthood of students with developmental disabilities recognized by special teachers and the limitations of this study were discussed.
