시각장애교육 관련 국내 석사학위 논문 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 2010년부터 2018년까지 9년간 국내 교육대학원 및 특수교육대학원의 시각장애교육 관련 석사학위 논문을 조사․분석하여, 시각장애교육 연구 동향과 향후 방향을 탐색하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내 학술논문 전문 검색사이트인 ‘학술연구정보서비스(RISS)’ 를 검색하여 관련논문 총 68편을 선정․분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애교육분야 학위논문의 연구주제별로는 교과교육 관련이 16편으로 가장 많았고, 다음으로 신체능력 11편, 음악활동 8편, 진로관련 7편, 일상생활 6편, 학습과 기타가 각 5편, 교사 전문성 4편, 인성교육과 학교운영 관련이 각 3편순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구대상별로는 단순 시각장애학생이 28편으로 가장 많았으며, 다음으로 시각장애학교 교사 대상이 10편, 시각장애 성인 9편, 시각중복장애학생 8편, 교수/학습방법과 기타가 각 5편, 교육과정/프로그램이 3편순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구방법별로는 양적연구가 31편으로 가장 많았으며, 다음으로 실험/사례연구 17편, 질적연구가 10편, 문헌연구가 9편, 혼합연구가 1편순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구방법에 따른 주제별로는 실험/사례연구에서 신체능력에 대한 연구가 8편으로 가장 많았고, 양적연구에서 교과교육, 음악활동, 진로교육이 각각 6편, 문헌연구와 실험/사례연구에서 교과교육이 각각 4편으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 논의와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate and analyze many master’s thesis on visual impairments education of graduate schools of education and graduate schools of special education in Korea for nine years from 2010 to 2018 in order to explore trends in the study of visual disability education and its future direction. To that end, a total of 68 related theses were selected and analyzed by searching the ‘Research Information Sharing Service(RISS)’, a search website specializing in academic papers in Korea, and the results are as follows. First, in term of the topics of study in the field of visual disability education, 16 were related to curriculum education, followed by 11 for physical abilities, 8 for musical activities, 7 for career-related activities, 6 for daily lives, 5 for learning and others respectively, 4 for teacher professionalism and 3 for personality education and school management respectively. Second, in terms of the subjects of the study, simple blind students appeared the most with 28, followed by 10 for blind school teachers, 9 for blind adults, 8 for multiple-handicapped blind students, 5 for teaching/learning methods and others, and 3 for curriculum/programs. Third, in term of research methods, quantitative research appeared the most with 31, followed by 17 experimental/case studies, 10 qualitative studies, 9 literary studies and 1 mixed study. Fourth, in terms of topics by research method, there were 8 studies on physical ability in the experimental/case research, 6 studies on the curriculum, music activities, and career education respectively in the quantitative research, and 4 studies on the curriculum in the literature and experiment/case researches respectively. Based on these findings, discussion and suggestions for future research were presented.
