비장애 형제자매가 지각한 가족탄력성과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 비장애 형제자매가 지각한 가족탄력성과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 밝히는 것이었다. 이를 위해 장애를 가진 형제자매와 함께 성장하고 있는 10대 비장애 형제자매를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 102부의 설문지를 통계 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비장애 형제자매의 심리적 안녕감은 가족탄력성, 사회적 지지의 부모지지, 교사지지, 또래지지와 유의미한 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 장애아 가족의 가족탄력성과 비장애 형제자매의 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 부모지지와 또래지지는 조절효과가 있지만 교사지지는 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모의 지지가 높을수록 가족탄력성이 심리적 안녕감을 더 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 또래의 지지가 낮을 경우 가족탄력성이 높을수록 심리적 안녕감이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 자녀의 심리적 안녕감은 부모를 포함한 가족의 영향을 가장 많이 받으며, 또래의 지지가 낮은 경우라도 가족탄력성이 높으면 심리적 안녕감을 향상시킬 수있다는 것을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderation effect of social support in the relationship between family resilience and psychological well-being perceived by teenagers who have siblings with a disability. A survey was conducted among teenagers who have siblings with a disability, and 102 questionnaires were analyzed statistically. The results are as follows: First, the psychological well-being findings showed a strong positive correlation to family resilience and the social supports from the children’s parents, teachers, and peers. Second, while the social supports from the parents and the peers had a moderating effect on the relationship between family resilience and the psychological well-being of the siblings, the social supports from the teachers did not. In addition, family resilience increased the psychological well-being more when parental support was high. On the contrary, in cases of low peer support, higher family resilience increased psychological well-being. Therefore, the children’s psychological well-being is mostly influenced by the family, including the parents. Also, psychological well-being can be ameliorated by the high level of family resilience even if peer support is low.
