중도․중복장애학생 대상 치료지원서비스 현황 및 발전방향 탐색

국문 초록

장애학생을 위한 치료지원 분야는 매우 다양하나 중도․중복장애학생 중에는 지체장애를 동반하는 경우가 많고, 이중 대다수가 물리치료를 받고 있는 것으로 보고되었다. 그러나 이들이 치료 지원을 받는 데는 여러 가지 어려움이 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 중도․중복장애학생 대상 치료지원 서비스 중 물리치료를 중심으로 서비스의 현황과 어려움, 요구 및 발전방안 탐색을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 충남지역 중도․중복장애 학교 학부모 중 물리치료를 받고 있는 4명의 학부모(초등 3명, 중등 1명)를 대상으로 포커스 그룹 면담을 실시하였다. 면담자료는 지속적 비교분석법에 따라 분석되었으며, 그 결과 6개의 주제와 22개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 본 연구 결과를 기반으로 중 도․중복장애학생을 위한 치료지원서비스의 나아가야할 방향을 다음과 같이 논의 및 제언하였다: 1) 바우처 제도의 현실화, 2) 치료여건의 개선, 3) 상태중심의 진단과 요구중심의 서비스, 4) 서비스 전달체계의 전환

영문 초록

Despite the wide range of related support services for students with disabilities, students with severe, multiple disabilities experience difficulty accessing physical therapies. Many of students with severe, multiple disabilities have accompanying physical disabilities; therefore, it is crucial to secure access to physical therapies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of therapy support services for students with severe multiple disabilities. Therefore, this study examined the difficulties, demands, and suggested directions for development. The focus group interviews involved three parents with children with severe multiple disabilities and one parent with an adolescent child with severe multiple disabilities. We analyzed the interview results using a continuous comparative analysis method, which identified six topics and twenty-one sub topics. These were the suggested future directions: 1) realization of a voucher system; 2) improvement of medical treatment conditions; 3) diagnosis based on conditions and services that accommodate demands; 4) transfer of service delivery system.
