영문 초록

Seoul has been the capital of South Korea. It has developed into a bustling metropolis, acting as the central of political, economic, social, and cultural matters. It makes Seoul become a very interesting attraction city. Furthermore, tourism advanced rapidly by travel, in which travel have relied on transportation, so that transportation is an integral part of the tourism industry. Whether transportation plays important role in enriching the travel experience of a tourist depends on the mode of transportation and the frequency of use (Westlake and Robbins 2005, 463). One of the transportation mode in the city is subway. Aim of the study is to identify factors that influence foreigners interest in using subway for getting their tourism destination in Seoul, Korea. Futhermore, the model design of this research is constructed and based on several factors that attract tourists to buy services or visit according to Weaver and Oppermann (2000, p.456). The survey method was used. The results of this research support our primary hypothesis and indicate that the price, location and service may be more important predictor, respectively. Contrary to our expections, the attraction information and value, also the accessibility are positive unsignificant related to the foreigner interest in using subway.
