영문 초록

This paper is an investigation of level of the tourism industry in Iran. In the initial stages, theoretical principles and studies and researches conducted in connection with the investigation were examined and from the existing models, the United Nations model to determine the level of maturity in the tourism industry was selected. The study was based on a question and five sub-questions that each of the questions in the IT Iran's tourism industry is reviewed. Then, using the information collected, as well as interviews with experts, indicators were identified for evaluation of the model and questions for each of them was designed and a questionnaire containing 42 questions on a Likert scale of 5 options were developed and then measure the reliability and validity, among the 196 employees of hotels and travel agencies in Tehran were distributed, and the resulting data were analyzed using one-sample mean. The results showed that the scores obtained from the UN's five stages of maturity models are somewhat close to each other and this shows that the industry has not passed any of these steps completely; but because the points made in the interaction is more points than the other, it can be concluded that the characteristics of information technology in the industry is closer to interactive step of Maturity Model of UN.
