稼亭 李穀의 중국체험과 원나라 인적 네트워크 분석

국문 초록

본고는 14세기 전반기 고려 문인 稼亭 李穀(1298~1351)의 원나라 인적 네트워크에 대한 분석을 주된 목적으로 하고 있다. 『『稼亭集』(20권)에는 원나라와 고려를 오가며 관료 생활을 했던 이곡의 활동이 생생하게 기록되어 있다. 특히 그가 맺었던 양국 문인들과의 인적 네트워크는 당시 麗元 문인 교류의 다양한 양상을 이해하는 기초 자료가 된다. 본고는 우선 『가정집』에서 이곡과 인적 네트워크를 형성한 원 문인 32명을 추출하고, 그들의 기본적인 현황을 민족별ㆍ출신 지역별, 出仕路, 관직의 품계와 직무상 특징, 학계에 미친 영향력 등으로 나눠 정리했다. 이를 토대로 구체적인 네트워크의 양상을 座主ㆍ門生ㆍ同年 관계를 바탕으로 한 制科를 매개로 한 네트워크와 在麗ㆍ在元 관직을 매개로 한 네트워크로 구분하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 이곡과 원 문인 간에 진행된 인적 네트워크의 특징을 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있었다. 첫째, 送別詩는 交遊詩의 문법을 잘 따르고 있다. 둘째, 다양한 출신 가문과 성공 과정을 보여준다. 셋째, 남방 문인과 북방 문인의 고른 분포와 남인의 약진이 확인된다. 넷째, 인적 네트워크의 중심지는 翰林國史院이다. 다섯째, 가난을 벗한 淸閑한 삶이나 殉節, 과로사와 같은 독특한 모습도 보여준다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the human network of the Yuan Dynasty by Ga-jeong Lee-Gok(稼亭 李穀) in the first half of the 14th century. The 『Gajeongjip(稼亭集)』 in 20 volumes vividly records the activities of Lee Gok, who served as a bureaucrat between the Yuan Dynasty and Goryeo Dynasty. In particular, the human network he formed with the literati of the both countries serves as basic data to understand various aspects of the exchange of the literati at that time. First of all, this paper extracted 32 people who formed the human network with Lee-Gok from the 『Gajeongjip(稼亭集)』, and organized their basic status into ethnicity, region of origin, the way to go into government service, the characteristics of government offices and their duties, and influence on academia. Based on this, the specific aspects of the human network were analyzed by dividing it into a network through Civil service examination(制科) based on Zwazu(座主), Disciple(門生), and Having passed the civil service examination in the same year(同年), and a network through government offices in the Goryeo and Yuan dynasties. As a result, it was possible to summarize the characteristics of the human network conducted between Lee-Gok and Yuan Dynasty’s literati as follows. First, Farewell Poems(送別詩) follow the grammar of Contacting Poetry(交遊詩) well. Second, it shows various families of origin and the success process. Third, the even distribution of Southern and Northern literati and the advancement of Southern literati are confirmed. Fourth, the center of human network is the Imperial Academy. Fifth, it also shows unique aspects such as a tranquil life of poverty, chastity-pursuing death and death caused by overwork.
