국문 초록

日露戦争初期における東大アカデミズムと『帝国文学』の動きを、『帝国文学』1904年4月号の3篇の戦争詩と、同時期に刊行された教科書を中心に考察した。 まず、坪井九馬三の詩｢征露進軍歌｣は、『新体詩抄』に収録されている外山正一の｢抜刀隊｣の｢我が官軍｣というテーマを継承していた。 次に、坪井、上田万年、芳賀矢一等の東大アカデミズムの中枢グループは、<中等>と<軍人>用の教科書作りに深く携わっていたが、｢振天府｣をはじめ、日清戦争関連のテキストが中等と軍人用の教科書に繰り返し採用され、日清戦争勝利のシンボル化していた。 そして、各教科書には、様々な儀式に必要な祝辞と弔辞のテキストが載せられていた。そして、芳賀の詩｢祝捷行軍歌｣は、｢捷報｣ムードを盛り上げるにとどまらず、脱亜論までを強く打ち出していた。

영문 초록

In the present paper, I analyse the academia of the University of Tokyo and the movement of Imperial Literature during the early period of the Russo–Japanese War by examining three war poems included in Imperial Literature(April, 1904) and the textbooks published during the same period. First, The Poem of Russia-Conquering Marching by Kumezō Tsuboi inherits the theme of ‘Our Government Army’ underlying A band of Swordsmen by Masakazu Toyama, included in Shintaishishō. Second, the core members of the academia of the University of Tokyo, such as Tsuboi, Kazutoshi Ueda, and Yaichi Haga, were actively involved in the creation of textbooks for ‘junior high schools’ and ‘servicemen’, but the textbooks relating to the First Sino–Japanese War such as ‘SINTENHU (振天府)’ were repeatedly used for junior high school students and servicemen, acting as the symbol of the victory of the war. Each textbook encompasses texts for congratulatory addresses and for condolences necessary for various rituals. Further, The Poem of Victory- Celebration Marching by Haga enlivened the atmosphere of ‘the news of victory’ and even hammered out the ‘Asia-decentralised statement’.
