영문 초록

We studied the Chinese and Korean discourse markers’ source, functi on and the property of their pronunciation and morphology. Careful con trast of the two languages, they shows up some key differences and som esame things. They have the similar lexical source, but the number of t he Korean discourse markers is far more than that of Chinese. In the g rammaticalizationprocess, the Korean discourse markers changed much m ore than that of Chinese. The similarity of the lexical source between the Chinese discourse markers and the Korean discourse markers shows the human’s similar cognitive feeling in the communication. And the di fferences between the two language’s discourse markers are connect wit h the two languages’ internal characteristics.
