국문 초록

이 연구는 문법 영역에서의 담화 교육 내용을 다문화 사회에 적합하게 구성하기 위한 방향을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 우리나라는 국제 결혼의 증가, 외국인 노동자의 유입 등으로 빠르게 다문화 사회로 진입하고 있다. 다문화 사회에서 학습자들은 문화적 다양성을 이해하고 이를 평등하게 바라볼 줄 아는 능력, 문화적 다양성으로 인한 갈등이 무엇인지 파악하여 이를 해소하는 능력, 즉 다문화 능력을 갖추어야 한다. 이 연구에서는 담화 교육 내용도 이러한 능력을 함양할 수 있도록 구성되어야 한다고 보고, 다문화적 맥락을 바탕으로 담화 교육 내용의 구성 방향을 모색하였다. 다문화적 맥락은 우리나라의 다문화 특성을 고려하여 인종과 민족 맥락, 그리고 지역과 정책으로 인해 생겨난 특수한 다문화 관련 맥락으로 설정하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 한 담화 교육 내용의 구성 방향은 담화의 구성 요소인 장면, 참여자, 메시지로 나누어 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to search for directions of constructing discourse contents in grammar education for a multicultural society. Korean society turn into a multicultural society due to increasing number of international marriages and an influx of foreign workers. In a multicultural society, leaners should develop competence to understand and look the cultural diversity with an equality, to identify and solve conflicts arising from cultural differences. In other words, learners should develop the multicultural competence. The discourse contents in grammar education would be constructed to foster this competence. So this study search for a direction to formulate discourse education contents based on the multicultural context. The multicultural context could set up a race and a national identity considering features of our multiculture, and a special context from regions or related policies. Based on these factors of the multicultral context, the discourse contents could suggest by “scenes, participants and messages” which are elements of the discourse.
