디자인 실습교육의 시범 방식에 따른 학습자의 인식 실태분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 대면 실습수업에서 학습자의 시범방식별 인식실태를 분석하여 교수자가 디자인 교육 실습수업 시 효과적인 시범방식을 선택함에 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구는 학습자의 실습수업 시 시범방식에 대한 인식실태를 분석하고자 설문조사의 방법으로 진행하였다. 실습수업의 시범방식에 대한 일반적인 선호도 분석 결과 현장시범을 영상시범 보다 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 현장시범을 비선호하는 학습자도 많아 선호도의 편차가 영상시범 보다 크게 나타나므로 영상시범이 상대적으로 안정적인 시범방식으로 분석되었다. 실습에 미치는 영향 정도에 있어서는 현장시범과 영상시범 모두 큰 차이 없이 실습방법 이해도와 실습에 미치는 효과성이 높았다. 그러나 실습 동기부여 정도에 있어서는 현장시범이 영상시범에 비해 상대적으로 동기부여 정도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 시범방식별 장단점 분석에 따르면, 현장시범은 교수자에 대한 신뢰를 바탕으로 작업 단계를 실시간으로 현장감 있게 전달하고자 할 때 적합한 시범방식이며, 영상시범은 크게 보여주어야 하는 섬세한 작업을 빠르고 집약적으로 전달하고자 할 때 적합한 시범방식인 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 작고 세밀한 작업 결과물에 대한 시범방식에 국한된 것으로 작업물의 종류에 따라 학습자의 인식실태에 차이가 발생할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to help instructors choose an effective demonstration method during design education practice classes by analyzing learners' perception status by demonstration method in face-to-face practice classes. This study was conducted by the method of a survey to analyze the actual state of learners' perception of the demonstration method during practical classes. As a result of analyzing the general preference for the demonstration method of the practice class, it was found that the live demonstration was preferred to the video demonstration. However, as there are many learners who do not prefer live demonstrations, the deviation in preference is larger than that of the video demonstration, so the video demonstration was analyzed as a relatively stable demonstration method. In terms of the degree of influence on the practice, both the live demonstration and the video demonstration had high understanding of the practice method and its effectiveness on the practice. However, in terms of the degree of motivation for the practice, it was analyzed that the degree of motivation of the live demonstration was relatively higher than that of the video demonstration. According to the analysis of the pros and cons of each demonstration method, live demonstrations are suitable for delivering detailed work steps in real time based on trust in instructors, and video demonstrations are suitable for delivering delicate tasks quickly and intensively. This study is limited to a demonstration method for small and detailed works, and differences in learners' perception may occur depending on the type of work.
