청소년상담자의 작업동맹 경험

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년상담자가 실제 사례에서 경험하는 작업동맹 현상을 심층적으로 이해하고자 질적연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 5년 이상 경력을 가진 청소년상담자 7명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였고, Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 최종적으로 청소년상담자의 작업동맹 경험의 구조를 8개의 구성요소와 21개의 하위구성요소, 128개의 의미단위로 도출하였다. 그 결과, ‘청소년상담자는 자신으로 경험으로부터 상담을 시작하여 청소년내담자를 마주하였으며, 청소년내담자가 먼저인 안전한 공간을 제공하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 청소년내담자에게 눈높이를 맞추며 다가가는 과정에서 한계와 소진을 경험하기도 했지만 서로를 믿으며 함께 하였고, 청소년 주변인들과 협력하며 청소년내담자를 위한 일이라면 무엇이든 하였다. 그렇게 함께 걷는 걸음 속에서 성장하였고 상담 후에도 관계가 지속되었다.’는 것으로 나타났다. 이어서 이러한 결과를 청소년상담에서의 작업동맹 특성 및 청소년상담자의 개입에 초점을 두고 다섯 가지 주요 결론으로 종합한 후 청소년상담의 작업동맹의 특성을 고려한 구체적이고 실천적인 개입방법과 지침, 주 양육자 및 교사(학교)와 효과적으로 협력적인 관계를 맺기 위한 연구와 방안, 작업동맹 경험에 대한 공유와 활용, 장기적인 안목에서 청소년상담의 작업동맹을 연구해야 하는 필요성에 대해 시사점을 제시하며 연구결과를 논의하였다. 이 연구는 청소년상담자의 생생한 작업동맹 경험의 실제 사례를 구체적으로 살펴보았다는 점에 그 의의가 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of the work alliance phenomenon experienced by youth counselors in real cases and to reveal its essence. The data was collected by conducting in-depth interviews 7 youth counselors with more than 5 years of experience. The analysis of the data was based on Giorgi phenomenological study and the structure of working alliance experience was extracted to 8 components, 21 sub-components and 128 meaning units finally. As a result, 8 components are as follows. ‘to start counseling and face the youth client.’, ‘to provide a safe space for youth first', 'approaching to youth client to their level', 'Experiencing limitations and exhaustion', 'trust each other and together', 'to do anything for the youth client', 'Growing together through the counseling', 'to maintain a relationship after end of counseling', After aggregate these results into five main conclusions, The necessity to study the working alliance of youth counseling was discussed as follows. For example, specific and practical intervention methods and guidelines, research and methods for effective cooperative relationships with primary caregivers and teachers (schools), sharing and utilizing work union experience. This study is meaningful in that it specifically examined the vivid working alliance experience of youth counselors through actual cases. Finally, implication and limitation of this study were discussed along with suggestions for future researches.
