청대 傳奇《鑑中天》의 평점 양상 고찰

국문 초록

본고에서는 淸代 傳奇 《鑑中天》의 평점을 통해 《감중천》의 내용과 특징에 대해 살펴보았다. 우선 평점을 통해 《감중천》의 작가인 姜玉潔과 평점가와의 관계를 추정했는데, 女道士라는 작가의 신분에 맞게 평점가도 도교에 정통한 여성으로 보이며 작가와 평점가 사이에는 친분이 있었을 것으로 파악되었다. 《감중천》 내용이 도교적 내용이 가득한 희곡 작품이기 때문에 평점 또한 이에 맞추어 도교적 내용을 이해하기 위한 주석으로서의 작용, 실질적인 도교 수련 과정인 구결과 같은 역할, 그리고 여성 독자들을 위한 작품의 해석으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 《감중천》의 평점은 단순한 글자와 의미 해석뿐만 아니라 도교의 용어를 설명해주는 작용도 하고 있었고, 작품 속의 노래와 대사 속에서 도교 수행에 있어서 핵심적인 내용을 강조해주기도 했으며, 여성 독자들이 쉽게 이해하도록 작품의 해석을 돕기도 하고 여성 독자에 맞추어 내용을 변화시켜 설명하기도 했다. 이를 통해 도교 신자들, 특히 여성 신자들이 도교극을 통해 어떻게 도교 교리를 이해하고 도교 수련을 하는지, 그들의 도교 신앙 생활을 살펴볼 수 있었다.

영문 초록

In this paper, we looked at the contents and characteristics of Jian-Zhong-Tian through the commentary of traditional opera Jian-Zhong-Tian in the early Qing Dynasty. First, through commentary, the relationship between Jiang Yu-jie, the writers of Jian-Zhong-Tian, and Jian-Zhong-Tian’s commentator was examined. Since Jiang Yu-jie is a Woman Taoist Priest, commentator seems to be a Taoist woman, and it is presumed that there was a close relationship between the writer and commentator. Jian-Zhong-Tian is a traditional opera full of Taoist content, commentary also divided it into an annotation to understand Taoist content, a role like a Pitty formula explaining the practical Taoist training process, and an interpretation of works for female readers. Jian-Zhong-Tian’s commentary not only interpreted letters and meanings, but also explained Taoism terms and emphasized the core contents of Taoism performance in songs and conversations in the work. It also helped interpret the work so that female readers could easily understand it, and explained it by changing the content according to female readers. Through Jian-Zhong-Tian’s commentary, it was possible to examine how Taoists, especially women, understand Taoism doctrine and practice Taoism through Taoism Opera, and their Taoism faith lives.
