국문 초록

M. H. 에이브럼스(M. H. Abrams, 1912-2015)의 문학 이론에 따르면, 문학 활동은 세계, 작가, 작품, 독자 등 네 가지 요소와 문학 창작, 문학 수용의 두 가지 특정한 활동으로 구성된다. 이런 관점에서 ‘독자 수용’은 매우 중요한 부분이다. 본 고는 수용 미학의 이론에 의거하여 문학 창작과 문학 생산의 역사문화인 ‘장(場)’을 연계하고, 또 루인 소설의 문학 창작을 근대 문학 생산장 전반에 포함시켜, 문학의 발생 환경과 전파 매체의 변화, 독자 계층의 수용 양상 등 측면에서 루인 소설을 살펴보고자 한다. 따라서 5⋅4시대 독자들의 반응이 루인의 창작에 미치는 영향과 창작 과정에서의 작가의 전략적 조율의 상호작용을 고찰하고자 한다. 이를 통해 루인 소설의 문학적 가치와 창작 특징을 살펴봄으로써 5⋅4 문학의 역사적 담론 환경 속에서 근대 여성 작가의 문학 창작 전체를 복원하고, 여성 해방 운동을 위한 루인의 꾸준한 노력을 탐구하고자 한다.

영문 초록

According to the literary theory of M. H. Abrams (1912-2015), literary activities consist of four elements: the world, writers, works, and readers, and two specific activities: literary creation and literary acceptance. From this point of view, ‘individual acceptance’ is a very important part. Based on the theory of receptive aesthetics, this paper aims to examine the history and culture of literary creation and the literary creation of Luin novels in terms of the development environment of literature, changes in propagation media, and acceptance patterns of readers. Therefore, it is intended to examine the influence of readers’ reactions in the May 4th era on Louis’ “creation” and the interaction of the writer’s strategic coordination in the creative process. Through this, by examining the literary value and creative characteristics of Luin’s novels, we intend to restore the entire literary creation of modern female writers in the historical environment of May 4 literature and explore Luin’s steady efforts for the women’s liberation movement.
