비행청소년의 외현화 문제행동에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 부모 부정적 양육태도를 자녀에 대한 심리적 괴롭힘으로 정의하고 그 영향이 비행 청소년 자녀의 자아탄력성을 거쳐 외현화 문제행동에 미치는 경로를 자료를 통해 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 비행을 저지른 경험이 있는 청소년 632명의 자기보고식 자료를 SPSS 21.0을 활용해 기술통계와 상관분석을 실시하였다. 그 후 Mplus 7.0 프로그램을 통한 구조방정식모델(structural equation modeling)을 활용해 측정모형과 구조모형을 검증하였다. 본 연구결과 자녀에 대한 언어 및 감정 표현제재, 신체적 학대, 불안정한 감정기복으로 측정한 부모 부정적 양육태도가 비행 청소년 자녀의 자아탄력성을 저해하는 것으로 나왔다. 그리고 저하된 자아탄력성은 외현화 문제행동 경향을 증폭시키는 경로가 확인 되었다. 마지막으로 비행 청소년을 대상으로 부모의 부정적 양육태도가 외현화 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에 자아탄력성이 매개하는 것을 확인하여 관련연구를 확장시킨 본 연구의 의의와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 포함하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the mediating role of resiliency in the relationship between negative parental child-rearing attitude and externalizing problems among juvenile delinquents. In a sample of 632 juvenile delinquents, we first examined the descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analyses using the SPSS 21.0. After that a structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed pathway among the variables using Mplus 7.0. The results based on self-report questionnaires indicated that negative parental child-rearing attitude, in terms of excess restriction regarding verbal and emotional expression, use of physical abuse as a means of punishment, and parental erratic mood swing was a significant predictor of lack of resiliency. As a juvenile delinquents report of resiliency decreased, the level of externalizing problems also increased. Limitations of the current study and suggestions for future investigations regarding causes of juvenile delinquents externalizing problems from the standpoint of negative parental child-rearing attitude and various mediating variables followed.
