국문 초록

노인인구 증가함에 따라 노인관련 이슈들이 많이 생겨나고 있으며, 특히 범죄피해가 증가하고 있는 실정을 반영하여 노인범죄피해를 예방하기 위한 정책적 시사점을 뒷받침할 수 있는 실증연구를 수행하고자 하였다. 즉, 노인의 범죄피해 예측요인을 실증연구를 통하여 검증하기 위하여 한국형사정책연구원에서 조사한 ‘전국범죄피해조사(2018년 기준)’의 2차 데이터 자료를 활용하였다. 만 65세 이상의 노인 2,762명의 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 특히 노인범죄피해현황을 살펴보면 재산범죄가 주를 이루고 있는 것을 볼 수 있는 것을 볼 수 있었으며, 2차 데이터 자료에서도 재산범죄가 주를 이루는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 특히 재산범죄 중에서도 주거침입과 관련된 범죄의 특성이 나타나 재산범죄를 재분류하여 분석에 활용하였다. SPSS 25.0ver 통계프로그램을 활용하여 주요 변수들의 기술통계분석, 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 교차분석, ANOVA분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 최종적으로 노인의 범죄피해 영향요인을 분석한 결과 재산범죄피해 영향요인으로는 학력, 위험노출, 방범수준인 것으로 나타났으며, 주거침입범죄피해 영향요인으로는 가구노출과 방범활동이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향요인으로 나타났다. 현재 노인범죄피해를 예방하기 위한 세부적인 정책이 논의되지 않는 실정에서, 이러한 실증연구는 노인범죄피해예방대책을 마련하는데 근거자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대해 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

As the elderly population increases, many issues related to the elderly are emerging, and in particular, an empirical study was conducted to support policy implications for preventing crime damage to the elderly by reflecting the increasing crime damage. In other words, in order to verify the predictors of crime damage in the elderly through empirical research, secondary data from the National Crime Damage Survey (as of 2018) surveyed by the Korea Institute for Criminal Policy were used. Data from 2,762 elderly people aged 65 or older were used for analysis. In particular, if you look at the current status of damage to crimes against the elderly, you can see that property crimes are dominated, and in the secondary data data, property crimes are also dominated. In particular, among property crimes, the characteristics of crimes related to housing invasion appeared, so property crimes were reclassified and used for analysis. Descriptive statistical analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, cross-analysis, ANOVA analysis, and logistic regression analysis of major variables were conducted using the SPSS 25.0ver statistical program. Finally, as a result of analyzing the factors influencing the elderly s crime damage, it was found that the factors influencing property crime were education, risk exposure, and crime prevention, and household exposure and crime prevention activities were statistically significant. With no detailed policies currently being discussed to prevent crime damage to the elderly, it can be expected that these empirical studies can be used as evidence to prepare measures to prevent crime damage to the elderly.
