중국 도교학원과 도교 교직자 양성체계 고찰

국문 초록

현재 중국 정부의 비준을 받아 공식적으로 운영되고 있는 도교학원은 10곳 정도이다. 1990년 설립된 중국도교학원 설립을 시작으로 그 규모에 따라 현재 3년제 도교학원과 4년제 도교학원이 나누어진다. 그리고 학제의 편성은 대체로 대전(3년), 본과(4년), 연구생반(3년) 체계로 구성되어 있다. 학생모집에 있어 전진파와 정일파 및 건도(乾道)와 곤도(坤道)를 구분하여 모집하기도 하며, 그리고 각 지역도교협회와 도교학원은 필요에 따라 단기과정의 연수반 등을 설치하여 운영하기도 한다. 중국도교학원은 ‘종교원교설립판법(宗教院校设立办法)’을 근거하여 중국 정부가 정한 국가교육체계의 범주 안에서 운영된다. 이는 중국 정부가 교직자 양성과정을 종교학교로 일원화하려는 의도로 갈수록 종교학교의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 실제로 도교학원을 통해 배출된 졸업생들이 도교협회 산하 궁관에서 거의 대부분의 주요한 임직을 맡고 있다. 이처럼 도교학교는 도사 양성을 책임지며 중국 도교 문화와 민족신앙의 전파를 위한 도교 인재양성의 핵심기지로 주목받고 있다.

영문 초록

Currently, there are about 10 Taoist academies that have been approved by the Chinese government and are officially operating. Starting with the establishment of the China Taoist Academy, established in 1990, the current three-year Taoist Academy and the four-year Taoist Academy are divided according to their size. And the interdisciplinary system is generally composed of Daejeon (3 years), main course (4 years), and research students (3 years). In recruiting students, they are recruited separately from the forward and the Jeongilists, as well as from the Gandao and the Kundao, and each local Taoist Association and Taoist Academy set up and operate short-term training classes as needed. The Chinese Taoist Academy is operated within the scope of the national education system set by the Chinese government based on the “Zongjiaoyuanxiaoshelibanfa”. The importance of religious schools is rising as the Chinese government intends to unify the clergy training process into religious schools. In fact, graduates produced through Taoist academies hold most of the major positions in the palace offices under the Taoist Association. As such, Taoist schools are in charge of cultivating Taoists and are attracting attention as a key base for cultivating Taoist talents to spread Chinese Taoist culture and national beliefs.
