국문 초록

내러티브는 인간의 상황과 경험에 주목하며, 시대·장소·공간을 초월하여 다양한 형식으로 인류의 역사를 형성해 왔다. 특히 교육학에서 교사의 내러티브는 인간의 삶을 교육적 측면에서 조망하고, 학습과 연계한다는 면에서 미술교육의 의미를 설명하는데 중요한 양식이 된다. 본 연구는 최근에 들어와 활발하게 논의되고 있는 내러티브 탐구에 대한 의미와 미술교육에서의 실천 가능성을 탐색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 자서전적 이해로서의 내러티브와 내러티브 탐구로의 전환이 가져온 변화가 미술교육과 어떤 연관성을 갖는지 살펴보았다. 또한 연구자가 내러티브에 관심을 갖게 된 미술비평교육을 내러티브와 연관시켜 탐색함으로써 본 연구를 보다 구체적으로 전개하고자 하였다. 내러티브 탐구에서 교사의 이야기는 곧 교육의 이야기이다. 따라서 본 연구는 최종적으로 오늘날의 교육 상황에 적절한 미술교육의 방식을 찾아 이론적 기반을 제공하고, 미술교육학자들이 지속적으로 실천적 연구를 할 수 있도록 토대를 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다. 변화하는 삶을 진지하게 탐구하는 내러티브는 개인과 사회문화, 개인과 개인, 개인과 구조 등의 다양한 관계에서 교사의 실천적 지식을 역동적으로 재구성한다.

영문 초록

A narrative has focused on the human condition and experiences, and shaped the human history in various forms transcending time, site and space. Especially in pedagogy, teachers narrative becomes an important mode in order to explain the meaning of art education in terms of shedding light on the human life from an educational aspect and connecting with learning. The objectives of the study were to explore the meaning of the narrative inquiry that has been actively discussed recently and the practical possibility in art education. For this purpose, it was observed how the changes brought about the conversion of the narrative as an autobiographical realization to the narrative inquiry had an association with art education. Additionally, more specific study was tried to develop by exploring the art criticism education that initially got the author interested in narrative in relation to the narrative. In a narrative inquiry, teachers stories are equal to education stories. Therefore, ultimately the objectives of the study are to find out an appropriate method of art education for the educational environment today, provide a theoretical basis, and to lay the foundation so that art educators can continue the practical study. Narrative that seriously explores changing life dynamically reconstructs the teachers practical knowledge in the various relationships such as individuals and society, between individuals and individuals and structure.
