국문 초록

한국의 대표적인 전통 주방가구로서 소반은 식기를 받치거나 음식을 먹을 때 사용하는 작은 상을 말한다. 소반은 그 당시 삶과 문화로 긴밀하게 연관된 문화유산으로서 소반의 모습을 통해 당시 조상의 삶과 행동을 유추할 수 있고, 소반의 상판과 다리의 조형적 특징은 한국적인 아름다움이 여실히 들어난 전통 유산으로서 문화적, 예술적 대표성을 띄고 있다. 이에 오늘날 창작자들은 소반을 다양한 융합적 재해석을 통해 현대의 미감과 문화에 적합한 소반을 제작 하고 있다. 본 연구는 오늘날 현대적인 융합적 접근을 통해 재해석된 소반의 사례를 분석하여 미래의 소반의 다양성과 가치가 앞으로 어떻게 발전할 것인지에 대한 방향에 대해 제시하고자 한다. 2장에서 소반의 특징과 전통유산으로서 문화적, 예술적 대표성을 분석하고, 신소재의 융합방법으로 재해석된 소반의 현황을 조사한다. 3장에서 오늘날 재료의 융합을 중심으로 재해석된 소반의 사례를 그 융합방법에 따라 3가지 유형별로 분류하여 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 앞으로의 미래 소반에 대한 발전 방향을 장르의 변화의 가능성, 아트퍼니처로서의 가능성, 포스트 코로나 시대의 소반디자인 가능성을 제시한다. 본 연구가 앞으로의 소반의 융합디자인에 있어 전통 문화를 계승하며 변화하는 시대에 발맞춘 창조적인 발전 방향에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

As a representative traditional kitchen furniture in Korea, soban is a small table used to support tableware or eat food. Soban is a cultural heritage closely related to life and culture at the time, and the figurative features of soban s top and legs are traditional heritage with Korean beauty, showing cultural and artistic representation. As a result, today s creators are making soban suitable for modern aesthetics and culture through a variety of convergent reinterpretation. This study analyzes the examples of soban reinterpreted through modern convergent approaches and presents the direction of how future soban diversity and values will evolve in the future. In chapter 2, This study analyzes the characteristics of soban and cultural and artistic representation as a traditional heritage, and investigates the examples of soban reinterpreted as a method of convergence of new materials. In chapter 3, classifies and analyzes the cases of soban reinterpreted centering on the fusion of materials by three types according to the fusion method, and based on this, it presents the future development direction of soban as the possibility of genre change, artfurniture, and the possibility of soban design in the post-corona era. It is expected that this study will help in the direction of creative development in line with the changing era, inheriting traditional culture in the future convergence design of soban.
