손기능 훈련을 적용한 감각통합그룹치료 프로그램이 발달장애아동의 손기능과 일상생활능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 손기능 훈련을 적용한 감감통합 그룹치료 프로그램이 발달장애아동의 손기능 및 일상생활능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에 참여한 38명의 발달장애아동을 대상으로 토요일과 일요일을 제외한 9주 동안 매회 45분간 제안한 프로그램을 수행하도록 하였다. 이 프로그램은 기존의 감각통합 이론을 토대로 촉각, 전정감각 및 고유수용성감각을 중심으로 수정 및 재구성된 것이다. 이 프로그램의 효과를 평가하기 위하여 손기능과 일상생활능력을 중재 전·후에 평가하였다. 수집된 자료는 대응 t-검정을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 우세손 및 비우세손 모두에서 7가지 세부 평가항목 모두 중재 후에 통계적으로 유의한 개선을 보였다(p<.01). 2) 대소변 조절, 기동성, 그리고 이동하기를 제외한 나머지 일상생활능력의 세부항목 및 일상생활능력 전체 점수에서중재 전·후에 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(p<.01). 이러한 결과로부터 제안된 손기능 훈련을적용한 감각통합 그룹치료 프로그램은 발달장애아동의 손기능 및 일상생활능력의 향상에 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to ascertain the effects of the hand-function trainning applied sensory integration group treatment program on the hand-function and ADL ability of children with developmental disability. Thirty-eight children participated in this work carried out the hand-function trainning applied sensory integration treatment program that consisted of 11activities for 45 minutes a day, during 9 weeks(with exception of Saturday and Sunday). This program was a modified and reconstructed version of the conventional theories of sensory integration, which was focused on a tactile, a vestibular and a proprioceptive sensations. In order to evaluate the effect of the proposed program, the hand-function test and Wee FIM(Fuctional Independent Measure) were assessed. The collected data were analyzed by using the paired t-test. The results of this study were as follows; 1) The hand-functions both dominant and non-dominant hand were significantly improved in all 7 detailed evaluation items after the intervention(p<.01). 2) ADL ability was significantly improved(p<.01) after the intervention with the exception of three detailed items,sphincter control, mobility and locomotion. These findings suggested that the hand-function oriented sensory integration group treatment program was effective to improve the hand function and ADL ability of the children with developmental disability.
