국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 휴대폰을 이용한 자기점검중재가 발달장애 대학생의 과제수행 및 학업성취에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 밝히는데 있었다. 연구 대상자는 발달장애 대학생 3명에게 대상자간 중다기초선설계를 사용하여 학습준비에 필요한 과제수행 후 휴대폰으로 그 결과를 교수자에게 보고하는 자기점검훈련을 실시하였다. 연구는 기초선, 중재, 유지의 단계로 거치며 진행되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 대상자 모두 휴대폰을 이용한 자기점검중재는 과제수행율을 향상시켰다. 둘째, 휴대폰을 이용한 자기점검중재는 발달장애 대학생의학업성취율을 향상시켰다. 셋째 휴대폰을 이용한 자기점중재가 종료된 후에도 지속적으로유지되었다. 본 연구 결과는 자신의 과제를 스스로 관리하고 점검할 수 있도록 하는 자기점검전략이 대학 교육활동에서도 발달장애 대학생들의 과제수행 및 학업성취도를 증가시키고유지시키기 위한 학습중재 프로그램으로써 유용하게 활용될 가능성을 제시했다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-monitoring using cellular phone on task execution & academic performance in English lessons for university students with developmental disorder. The multiple baseline design across subjects was used to examine the intervention and maintenance. Three students were trained to learn how to monitor themselves utilizing self-recording and reporting strategies to their English teacher with using cellular phone after accomplishing assigned home-tasks. Maintenance was implemented 3 times in 10 weeks after fading the intervention. The findings of this study through self-monitoring techniques using cellular phone are as follows: 1) The level of task execution for English lessons was upgraded. 2) English academic performance was elevated. 3) These upgraded task performance were maintained highly during maintenance period. Based on the results mentioned above, This study implies that Self-monitoring has positive effects which helps the university student with developmental disorder become active and independent participants for their own behavior change in English Instruction.
