최중도 지체장애학생의 진로·직업교육에 대한 특수교사들의 인식

국문 초록

이 연구는 최중도 지체장애학생의 진로·직업교육과 관련된 문제점, 진로·직업교육의 운영 실제, 졸업 후 진로의 방향성 등에 대하여 특수교사들이 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 조사연구 하였다. 연구의 방법으로 델파이 조사를 수행하고 있으며, 조사대상은 지체장애 특수학교에서 진로·직업을 담당하고 있는 특수교사 30명이었다. 연구의 결과, 첫째, 최중도 지체장애학생의 진로·직업교육과 관련된 문제점으로 최중도 지체장애학생에 대한 진로선택의어려움, 진로에 대한 정보획득 곤란, 진로·직업교육이 지역사회와 연계되지 않은 점 등을인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 최중도 지체장애학생의 진로·직업교육의 운영에 대하여 진로·직업 교육내용은 자립생활에 중점을 두어야 하고, 지역사회와 연계한 교육이 되어야 하며, 특수교사는 지역사회와의 연계 전문가로서의 역할을 해 나가야 한다고 인식하고 있었다. 마지막으로 최중도 지체장애학생의 졸업 후 진로의 방향성에 대하여 학생이 졸업 이후 계속 참여할 보호(훈련)기관과 자립생활을 지원하기 위한 훈련프로그램이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 연구결과를 통해 최중도 지체장애학생의 취업에 대한 개념 재정립과 학교에서의 진로·직업교육의 내용과 방법 등에 대한 방향 설정이 필요함에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study is to analyze the consciousness of special education teachers who are in charge of career education for the students with profound physical disabilities, and also is a basic research in order to set the direction with respect to career education for them. The research was carried out by means of Delphi method, and the research panel consisted of incumbent special education teachers who took charge of career education in special school for students with physical disabilities. The research results drawn from total 4 rounds of Delphi method revealed that;First, the teachers perception regarding the students future in connection with career education for the students focused on the difficulty in selecting career,troubles in finding information about career, non-connectivity of career education with local community, and no responsible government organization for providing information about career education. Second, included in the teachers perception towards actual status of career education for the students with profound physical disabilities are that the contents of career educations should be conducted with a focus on independent living, and then such education is required to be linked with local community. Also that the special education teacher in charge of career education should have to take a role as experts who link career education with local community. Lastly, the teachers perception regarding the career education of the students with profound physical disabilities after their graduation(from high school) were that there lacked protective(eg, day-care center and training center). organization where the students with profound physical disabilities could easily participate in. And the teachers perceived that training program is necessary insomuch as to help the students carry on an independent living. Through the research results, the researcher was able to reestablish the concept of finding an employment for the students with profound physical disabilities, and also to discuss about the method, contents, and location for career education.
