국문 초록

연구는 이미지 마커 인식기술의 이해를 바탕으로 사례분석 및 실험을 통해 증강현실 포스터의 표현 방법과 디자인 방향성을 모색하고자 하였다. 증강현실 포스터는, 포스터가 가지는 메시지 정보전달 기능과 조형성을 포괄하며 증강현실 이미지 정합기술로 현실 세계의 이미지에 가상 그래픽이 겹쳐 보이는 시각적 흥미로운 사용자경험이 제공된다. 증강현실 포스터의 디자인 특성으로 첫째, 디자인 표현 요소들의 형태와 명도 차이, 이미지의 복잡성 등 이미지 마커 인식의 특성이 고려되어야 한다. 둘째, 인식대상 포스터 이미지가 디스플레이 되는 주변 환경에 따라 증강현실 포스터의 구현에 영향을 준다. 셋째, 인쇄 포스터와 디지털 포스터 이미지를 복합적으로 활용할 수 있다. 넷째, 증강현실 포스터는 모바일 앱을 통해 다양한 시각효과와 정보전달이 가능하다. 다섯째, 포스터의 디자인 과정에서 증강현실 구현 기술이 함께 진행되어야 한다. 끝으로 연구 및 실험을 통해 증강현실 포스터의 표현과 디자인 접근 방법을 인식함으로써, 증강현실 포스터의 활용성과 디자인 제작의 토대를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Augmented reality posters, with their message of functionality and aesthetic impressions, provide users with an interesting user experience and enhanced realism through an effective image registration of the real world and virtual graphics. The characteristics of the design of augmented reality posters include the following. First, differences in the shape, brightness of design and complexity of image elements influence the rate of recognition. Second, design is affected by the environment where the posters are displayed. Third, it can be used effectively in both printed posters and digital screens. Fourth, it can be delivering the visual effects and information with mobile devices. Fifth, the characteristics of augmented reality technology must be combined together in the process of designing posters. In conclusion, by understanding the design-related approach and characteristics of expression with regard to augmented reality posters through research and experiments, this study will be able to offer implications for the usability of augmented reality posters and the foundation for producing appropriate designs.
