대졸 초기 취업자의 직업만족도 변화에 관한 종단 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국고용정보원에서 수집하는 청년패널(Youth Panel) 조사의 8차(2014), 10-12차 (2016-2018) 데이터를 활용하여, 대졸 초기 취업자의 직업만족도 변화 패턴을 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 잠재성장모형을 적용하였으며, 직업만족도의 성장 추이와 개인특성 및 대학교육특성의 영향력을 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 대학생활만족도는 대졸 취업자의 직업만족도 초기치에 대해 통계 적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었지만, 변화율에 대해서는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이외, 성별, 최종학력, 직업준비행동은 직업만족도 초기치와 변화율에 통계적으로 유의한 영향력이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학생의 대학생활만족도를 증진시킴으로써 그들의 대졸 초기 직업만족도는 개선시킬 수 있지만, 변화율에 있어서는 지속적인 영향을 미치지 않고 있음을 시사한다. 정책적 제언으로 학생들의 교육적 니즈를 정확히 파악하여, 학생들이 만족할 수 있는 서비스를 제공하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 학생 개인이 대학교육을 통하여 본인에게 적합한 직무 및 직업분야가 무엇인지 적극적으로 모색할 수 있는 환경을 대학 차원에서 지원할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the change patten of youth college graduates’s job satisfaction by using the data of the Youth Panel(YP) Survey conducted by the Korea Employment Information Service. The latent growth model was used to analyze longitudinal change with nfluence of individual and college variables. The major findings of this study were as followings. First, student’s college life satisfaction affected on the change of job satisfaction at the early stage of youth college graduates but it had no effect on the rate of change. Second, college student’s sex, education, career preparation behavior had no effect on the initial level and change in early-career college graduates job satisfaction. While the college life satisfaction of students was found to influence in job satisfaction at the early-career but it did not continue to influence changes in job satisfaction over time. It is suggested that colleges and universities need to improve the student’s campus life satisfaction. Also, it is necessary to iprovide opportunities for individual student to search for their job and career through various education programs.
