국문 초록

본 연구는 중학교 학생들을 대상으로 수행한 R&E의 결과를 바탕으로 이루어졌다. 다각수란 정다각형과 그 내부에 점들을 일정한 간격으로 배열하였을 때, 그 점들의 개수로 나타나는 수들이다. 본 논문에서는, 다각수들을 자연수로 나누었을 때 그 나머지들에 나타나는 다양한 패턴을 연구하였다.

영문 초록

This research is based on the result of R&E which has been studied with middle school students. A polygonal number is the number that can be represented by a regular geometrical arrangement of equally spaced points. In this paper, we study various patterns that appear in the remainders of the polygonal numbers when they are divided by a natural number.
