국문 초록

로로 여객선은 복원성 부족과 부실한 고박 또는 외력 등과 같은 여러 가지 이유로 인하여 급선회하며 전복되어 해저에 침몰하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 지상에 인양된 후 내부 및 외부 손상에 대한 철저한 조사를 바탕으로 손상 원인을 규명하는 데 있다. 좌현 선미 갑판은 약 158도 횡경사로 인하여 ？？저에 닿았고, 좌현 부분은 굴뚝 상부가 손상된 직후 선수가 가라앉는 과정에서 해저에 부딪혔다. 좌현은 균열(crack)과 같은 손상이 발생하였고, 객실과 통로부는 상부와 하부 갑판이 중첩되는 손상이 발생하였으며, 화물 갑판은 좌굴에 의해 선수미 방향으로 접히는 손상이 발생하였다. 본 연구에서는 유체-구조 연성(Fluid-Structure Interaction) 해석기법의 고도 정밀 M&S(Modeing & Simulation) 시스템인 해난사고 원인규명 통합분석 시스템(Marine Accident Integrated Analysis System; MAIAS)을 이용하여 사고 당시의 모든 적재 화물을 포함한 실선 침수 · 침몰 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

영문 초록

Ro-Ro ferry ship capsized and sank down to the bottom in the sea water due to the rapid turning for the several reasons, such as lack of stability and poor lashing, or due to the external forces. The objective of this study is to figure out the cause of damage based on the thorough investigation of its inside and outside damage after being salvaged on the ground. Its deck of stern left side fell down the bottom in the seawater with around 158 degree lateral incline, and its left side hit the bottom in the seawater right after the top of chimney was crashed during its bow subsiding. Its left side was damaged with some cracks, its cabins and passageways were also damaged and overlapped, and its left side of strong cargo deck was folded. In this study, full-scale ship flooding and sinking simulation was carried out using Marin Accident Integrated Analysis System (MAIAS; highly advanced M&S system of Fluid-Structure Interaction analysis technology), including total cargo.
