국문 초록

이 논문은 대학에서 글쓰기 체제로 전환된 이후의 대학 글쓰기 분야의 연구를 주제별로 검토하여 각 주제별 쟁점을 정리하고, 향후 발전을 위한 과제를 제안한 것이다. 검토 결과 주제별 쟁점을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동일 용어를 다른 의미로 사용하는 경우가 있어 용어 사용의 조율이 필요하다. 둘째, 교육목표의 설정은 대학의 보편성과 특수성 중 어떤 것에 중점을 두어야 할지 논의가 필요하다. 셋째, 학문 영역별 글쓰기 방법이 따로 존재하는지, 현재 이공계열 글쓰기가 공학인증프로그램에서 요구하는 공학인의 양성에 기여하고 있는지 등에 대해서도 논의가 필요하다. 넷째, 이론과 실제 분석 연구가 따로따로 진행되고 있으며, 실제 분석의 경우 특정 대학을 대상으로 진행되고 있어 보편성 확보 방법에 대한 논의가 필요하다. 넷째, 글쓰기 윤리 및 지원시스템의 운영의 경우 각 대학의 실정에 맡겨져 있어 이에 대해서도 대학공동체의 논의가 필요하다. 향후 발전을 위한 과제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육목표를 분명하게 설정해야 한다. 둘째, 주변 학문과 긴밀한 협조 속에 연구를 진행할 수 있는 연구 인력과 그러한 연구 성과를 효과를 다룰 수 있는 교수인력을 확보해야 한다. 셋째, 대학공동체 차원에서 이론과 실제를 토대로 구체적인 프로그램을 개발하고 공유해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to review the history of study on university writing education by topic since the introduction of writing system into universities, to summarize issues by topic, and to propose tasks for future development. The summary of review results by topic are as follows. First, it is necessary to coordinate the use of terms as the same terms are often used as different meanings. Second, it is necessary to discuss where the educational goals focus on between universality and particularity. Third, it is necessary to discuss whether writing methods by academic field separately exist and whether current writing in science and engineering field contributes to the training needs of engineers who are required by the engineering certification program. Fourth, it is necessary to discuss whether studies on theory and practice analysis are carried separately and to discuss methods to secure universality as the practice analyses are carried in particular universities. Fifth, discussion among university community is also required as writing ethics and support systems varies from universities. The tasks for future development are as follows. First, it is necessary to set-up the educational goal of university writing concretely. Second, researchers who can conduct researches in close cooperation with other disciplines, and teacher who can effectively utilize the research results. Third, it is necessary to develop a concrete programs to achieve the goals and share the programs.
