국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘탐구적 과학 글쓰기에 근거한 연구보고서 쓰기 프로그램’ 수행과정에서 나타난 현상을 통해 과학 글쓰기의 전문성을 제고할 수 있는 시사점을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 연구보고서 쓰기 프로그램에서 일부 학생들(A그룹)은 연구 주제 설정 및 연구 방법 설계를 하는 과정에서 학과 전공 교수 및 조교들에게 도움을 요청하여 연구 주제의 명확화, 연구 방법의 체계화·정교화를 확보함으로써 외부자의 도움 없이 실험 진행 및 연구보고서를 작성한 학생들(B그룹)에 비해 높은 성취도를 보였다. 하지만 전공 교수 및 조교들이 개입하지 않은 연구 결과 분석에서는 연구 방법과는 달리 두 그룹에서 별다른 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 이러한 현상은 전공 교수 및 학과 실험실 조교와의 연계 시스템 구축이 과학 글쓰기 교육의 전문성을 높이는 현실적인 대안이 될 수 있음을 시사한다. 본고의 연구 결과는 과학 글쓰기에 필요한 교육 콘텐츠를 마련하기 위해서는 글쓰기 교수자들이 이·공학계열 교수자들과 협업 내지는 충분한 의사소통을 해야 한다는 사실을 잘 보여준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to attempt to suggest methods that improve professional skills of science writing through emerging phenomenon process of research paper writing program based on Science writing heuristic. In research paper in writing program, some students showed high level of achievement because securing disambiguation in subject of research and systemization/elaboration in method of research through asking professors and research assistants for help whereas other students writing research paper autonomously showed low level of achievement. It couldn t be discovered any differences between two groups in research result and analysis. It can suggest that buliding system between writing professor and major professor or research assistants is realistic alternative to improve professional skills of science writing. This research result show cooperation or communication between writing lecturer and science and engineering lecturer is important to secure realistic educational contents.
