국문 초록

허은 생애담의 특징은 일제식민지기 만주 망명체험을 구술한 데 있다. 평범한 여성들의 일상기록과는 차이나는 지점이다. 만주망명은 단순한 이사가 아니라 삶터를 옮겨서 일제에 저항하는 특별한 목적을 둔 이주였다. 일제치하 독립운동 하는 친정에서 태어나 만주망명을 따라나섰고, 그 망명의 길에서 독립운동가 집안으로 시집가 독립지사의 길을 걸었던 이야기이다. 허은은 만주망명의 삶을 개인영역에 가두지 않고 기억으로 그 삶을 재현시켜 역사의 뒤안길을 밝혀냈다. 자전적인 기록으로 간주할 수 있는 자신의 이야기를 세상에 남겨놓았다. 기본적인 관점에서 보자면 인생을 돌아보고 자아를 성찰하는 의미를 갖는다. 다만 이 정도라면 단편적인 일기나 지인들과의 대화로도 충분했을 것이다. 자아성찰을 넘어서는 역사적인 발자취를 남겨놓으려는 목적이 있었다. 가장 소극적인 저항으로서의 기록, 일제식민지 살벌한 시절에 저항한 사람들의 목소리를 전해주는 역사의 무게를 그대로 감당한 무거운 선택이었다. 삶이 사사롭거나 통속적이지 못했으므로 그 삶을 기록할 의무와 책임감을 느꼈을 것이다. 생애담이 만주망명시기 어린 소녀와 새댁의 시간이었다면, 가사는 회갑을 맞은 노년의 성숙한 여성의 목소리로 구성되었다. 또한 개인적인 가족이야기를 언급하며 생애를 돌아보는 내용이 담겼다. 망명담으로만 구성되었다면 장년과 노년의 시간, 혹은 인생전반을 돌아볼 계기가 마련되지 않았다. 망명담이 사실에 충실한 기억재현이라면 가사는 겪은 이야기를 종합하거나 주제별로 묶은 뒤 자신의 판단, 생각, 심사를 고루 적었다. 만주에서 독립운동을 목적으로 하는 망명객의 정체성을 띨 때, 독립운동에 뛰어들거나 그 후방에서 도움 되는 일을 선택했다.

영문 초록

The characteristic of the life of Huh is the dictation of the experience of colonization of the Japanese colonial Manchu. It is a point that is different from the ordinary records of ordinary women. The Manchu exile was not a simple move but a relocation with a special purpose of resisting the Japanese imperialism by moving it. He was born in the family of independence movement under Japanese rule, followed the Manchu exile, and walked the road of independence movement to the independence movement family in the way of the exile. He did not confine the life of the Manchu exile to his personal domain, but recreated his life in memory and revealed the backdrop of history. I left my own story in the world that can be regarded as an autobiographical record. From a basic point of view, it has the meaning to look back on life and reflect on self. If this is the case, it would have been enough for a short diary or conversation with acquaintances. There was a purpose to leave historical footsteps beyond self-reflection. The record as the most passive resistance, the Japanese colonial, was a heavy choice to bear the weight of the history of the people who resisted the bloody days. Because life was not private or popular, it would have felt the duty and responsibility to record it. Although it is difficult to generalize how women s consciousness of Manchurian asylum independents activists are, it is not hard to judge whether they are fragmentary or not. Despite the urgent need for independence movement, I left all the chores to women. The male- centered discriminative ethics and ideology dominated the exile social order. The more traditional women, the more they were educated about traditional women’s works in the time of modern change. He followed the traditional order centered on the patriarch of men, and he lived the life of Gosung, his wife and daughter-in-law, There is a very challenging subjectivity in the lyrics of Huh. If life was a time for a young girl and a newborn in the time of the exile of Manchu, the lyrics consisted of the mature woman’s voice in the age of sixties. She also mentioned his personal family story and looked back on her life.
