이중추출법과 사후추정법의 효율성 비교

국문 초록

조사의 특성을 고려하면서 대표성 있는 표본을 추출하기 위해 층화추출법이 흔히 사용되며 이때 층화를 위한 층화변수는 매우 중요한 역할을 하게 된다. 그러나 표본설계를 위해 제공된 표본틀에는 관심변수의 정확도를 높일 수 있는 정확한 층화변수가 없는 경우도 있다. 흔히 이러한 문제를 해결하는 방법이 이중추출법이다. 그러나 이중추출법을 사용하기 위해서는 추가적인 비용과 시간이 필요하다. 비용과 시간을 적게 들이면서도 추정의 정도를 높이기 위한 또 다른 방법 중의 하나가 사후가중추정법이다. 본 연구에서는 모집단의 정보가 부족하여 정확한 층화변수의 사용이 어려울 때 미국 노동청(Bureau of Labour Statistic)의 사업체 가중치 조정방법(BLS 방법)을 이용한 사후가중치조정 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 모의실험과 전국 화물 기종점통행량 조사 결과를 이용한 사례연구를 통해 이중추출법과 본 연구에서 제안한 사후가중치조정 추정법의 성능을 비교하였다.

영문 초록

In sample design, a certain auxiliary information related to the variable of interest on sample survey should be used for attaining more efficient sampling. However, some cases, the required or related informations are not available in advance from the population. In that case, double sampling technique could be one of the reasonable approaches. In double sampling, getting a useful variable for second stage sample design is the most important thing but it is not quite easy and even it costs. Therefore we suggest the post estimate method applying the BLS outlier weight adjustment after the survey which is done by sample design with lack of related information from population. In this study, simulation study is performed with survey of truck transportation data, the results of double sample and suggested post estimation method are compared with relative standard error.
