졸업학년 간호대학생의 전문직관, 공감능력이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 졸업학년 간호대학생의 전문직관, 공감능력이 의사소통능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상자는 8개 대학 간호학과 4학년에 재학 중인 학생 393명이었으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0으로 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 의사소통능력은 형제자매여부, 전공만족, 시뮬레이션 실습여부에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 공감능력은 입학동기와 전공만족도에 따라, 전문직관은 성별, 전공만족도에 따라 차이가 있었다. 대상자의 의사소통능력은 전문직관의 하부요소인 전문직 자아개념(r=.410, p<.001), 간호의 전문성(r=.413, p<.001), 간호실무의 역할(r=.432, p<.001)과 공감능력의 하부 요소인 인지공감능력(r=.514, p<.001), 정서공감능력(r=.417, p<.001)이 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 의사소통능력 영향 요인은 인지공감능력이 가장 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났으며(β=.261, t=4.930), 간호실무의 역할, 간호의 독자성, 감정공감능력의 영향력이 40.7%로 나타났다(F=66.682, p<.001). 따라서 졸업학년 간호대학생의 의사소통능력을 예측할 수 있는 중요 변인으로 공감능력과 전문직관의 간호실무역할과 간호의 독자성이 확인되었다. 이에 의사소통능력을 증진시키기 위해서는 공감능력 배양과 확고한 간호실무의 역할과 간호의 독자성을 확립할 수 있는 간호교육 프로그램 개발할 것을 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study was done to identify the influence of professionalism, empathy, on communication ability in 4th undergraduate nursing student. The subject was consisted of 393 senior nursing student. The data were collected from December, 1 to December, 22, 2013. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics version 18.0. The professionalism score of subjects was 3.68 out of perfect score 5, cognitive-empathic ability score of subjects was 3.63, emotional- empathic ability score was 3.72 out of perfect score 5, communication ability score of subjects was 3.58 out of perfect score 5. A positive correlation was found for nursing professionalism, empathy, communication ability. The strongest predictor of communication ability was cognitive-empathy, the role of nursing service, originality of nursing, emotional- empathy. Theses finding indicate that there is need to increase emphatic ability, nursing professionalism to improve communication ability of senior nursing student. The results should be reflected in the development of effective curricula.
